Clean, fresh, secure.
It doesn’t get anymore convenient than this location. It’s right next to where you’d take the bus/ train/ ferry. So however you arrive in Flåm this apartment is right there waiting for you! Good kitchen facility for easy quick meal. Supermarket is 1min walk away. We didn’t drive but looks like plenty of parking nearby. Luggage locker and bike hire right next door. Bonus points for a washer and love the balcony with the mountain view.
Cheerful 4-bedroom home with fireplace, 1,5km from Flåm center, a property with a garden, is located in Aurland, 18 km from Stegastein Viewpoint.

Not far from the city of Flam, should have rented a car so it gives you a very convenience to get to the place.
We got an entire lower house with plenty of rooms. Huge living room and kitchen. A very well equipped kitchen and dining table. Cant even ask for more from here.

Myrdal as a location was excellent as one could use it for the trains between Bergen and Oslo which ran 4-6 times a day in each direction with the one station link to the Vatnahalsen Hotel although it is barely 1km away. Bikes for hire to ride down a very long very steep series of U bends going down to Flam. Excellent

The Rallervegen is the old access road built when the railway was constructed and it now provides a fabulous route for hiking and biking. The section most travelled is between Myrdal and Flåm, but the finest and most exciting scenery is to be found on the route heading west from Vatnahalsen (one stop from Myrdal on the Flåm railway) towards Finse; we walked all day on this route and did not encounter a single living soul. There are waterfalls and then there are Norwegian waterfalls - it's mind-blowing how much water pounds down these mountains. Myrdal itself is a railway station with a cluster of holiday cabins around it - there's no town as such and nowhere to get provisions apart from the tiny cafe in the station, so either come well provisioned, or go down to Flåm first to stock up.
Given the location on top of mountain this hotel has all the basic things u need for a pleasant stay. Even if something needful is not there in room, just ask for it and hotel will arrange it.
Must stay here for a night or two and enjoy every around.
An exceptional hotel in the midst of a beautiful scenery. The hotel itself is very well furnished, the lobby especially makes you feel like being part of an old novel.
