Hotels near Chautara

We stayed here for 4 nights in April 2023 and absolutely loved it. The setting for the hotel is incredible, perched on the side of a mountain with a river gorge at the bottom and is very modern and more luxurious than most in Nepal. It took us about 3.5 hours to get to the hotel by taxi from Kathmandu and the road was surprisingly good until the last 13km where the tarmac ended and it was more of a gravel track. There are no ATMs near the hotel so make sure you get any cash you might need at Bahrabise and be aware that like in most hotels in Nepal, you can’t use Mastercard, only Visa. Our room was really lovely with a stunning view from our balcony and a spacious rainfall shower. They are still in the process of completing the upper stories of the hotel so there was some construction noise but it didn’t spoil our stay. The pool was not heated so was pretty chilly but the jacuzzi was nice and hot so we spent a lot of time in there with occasional plunges in the pool to cool down. We were served drinks and snacks at the poolside so felt very pampered! The staff here were really great and the service was excellent. Raju & Nisma in the restaurant took great care of us and were incredibly courteous and polite, obviously having been very well trained. The food and drink was very good and not a bad price either and the included breakfast was delicious and cooked to order most days. Shrawan on reception was also very attentive and helped organise and accompanied us on a trip to the Chinese border, Tatopani hot springs and Duguna Gadhi, an old Tibetan fort on top of a nearby mountain. The rest of the time we spent relaxing at the hotel, taking in the stunning views or exploring the surrounding area and its wildlife. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again!

Exceptional service from staff and location of the hotel.. had a wonderful sunrise right from the room. Breakfast served with an combination of both Nepalese and western cuisine.. facilities were exceptionally well managed and even had warmers around the lobby and balcony areas to enjoy the old weather. Would definitely visit again in future.

Good view.

The location is perfect. The view is really stunning and you can watch sunrise from your bed. It feels like waking up in the clouds. The hotel is clean and the stuff was very nice and helped me with my heavy luggage. The food was also very good, I had the best thali set of my 4 weeks stay in Nepal. Will definitely stay again.

I spent a few relaxing days in Mount Paradise - my favorite place was on the roof terrace. I didn't miss anything, the staff was very nice and the food was very good. It‘s 15-minute walk from the bus station.

The place it self is in Amazing locetion, well, our satying time we did not have amazing mountain view till our last day and then at our second last day all things on mountain clears up and those beutifull highest mounatin of the world shows us in fully panoramic way 🙂 wow, other then that, it is quayat place greenery and hills view peaceness was really amazing !! the staffs and owner very humble they are simple people and you tell them what you need they really help you for your privet needs as well, the Owaner Sajan and his family very helpfull in anyway you just have to tell them what you need, ! and in our journey we wanted our own cooked food which Sajan also made it possible he let us use their kitchen with all needs !!! Really Nice 🙂 our room was very tiny but we had amazing view from bed even,so we did really have no problem with tiny room room was quayat clean and me and my beutifull wife really liked that peaceness,green,hills and we had one of best stay of our tour, And this property some how really have everything greatness and it is going to even next level the owner upgrating still so we can not wait for our next trip to our Lovely Gombo Hide away Thank you for leting us stay and made us fell so nice like home 🙏 See you soon Gombo Team

The staff were really friendly. Room Service was exceptional. They had vegetarian food and you could order till 9 p.m. . The location was very close to a nice view point. Good WiFi connection so that I could easily work online.

It is well located in he village and the room is a good size with a balcony which has a good view. It is also nice and quiet.
