Awesome comfortable clean cottage. Great facilities and location. Had everything we needed. Hosts were lovely and left the lights on for us as we arrived late. Excellent value for money and great communication. Would definitely stay here again!

Host was lovely and easy to communicate with. She was very accommodating when organizing check in time. I had a slight issue with my booking (my own fault) and the host helped me to sort it out very quickly.
Over all the property was exactly as it looked in pictures and very comfortable and convenient.

We stayed in one of the cottages in the grounds of the cellar door/restaurant complex. It was just beautiful - very comfortable and well appointed. We loved everything about it, apart from the breakfast provisions. (See explanation below.)

Quite a remote area but not far to a local village store and bistro where we dined one night. Glorious scenery around Cape Kidnappers and excellent Cafe at Clifton (Hygge)
Easy drive to Havelock North where there are excellent restaurants and shops

Te Awanga is in the countryside (between Haumoana and Clifton beach), so it was an ideal location to catch up on some rest and relaxation.
I attended a family wedding held at Te Awanga, so my time there was consumed by wedding festivities and I didn't have much of a chance for sightseeing (but I did drive to Clifton beach which was only 2kms away from the cottage). Stunning views.
Te Awanga is a lovely beachside area and was easy to get around. There was a dairy (general store) and takeaway shop in the nearby township of Haumoana and the sweet and sour pork was delicious.
