Swat Serena Hotel, hotel in Saidu

Swat Serena Hotel has a garden and a restaurant in Saidu. Featuring a fitness centre, the 5-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom.

It is a heritage property offering a unique experience to the visitors. The room, quality of food, service all were very good. I was upgraded to royal heritage suite (though I booked a heritage suite) which was very kind of them. However, I would like to point out that the picture available for the heritage suite on booking.com is perhaps of the royal heritage suite. Very good experience overall.

    It is a busy city.

It is a busy city. If archeology is your thing, then do visit Swat Museum. There are also ruins of many stupas in the vicinity. Personally, i wouldn't get inside the city unless necessary. Since there are sometimes miles long ques of vehicles who are trying to get in and out of the city. So if you just need to stay for a night while going up north, Fizagat is a good choice.

    Just another crowded city.

Just another crowded city. Have a trip to the Swat river, check out the Swat Museum, the Saidu Stupa, the Butkara I and Butkara III archeological digs for a truly fascinating insight into Swat's Buddhist heritage.

I have stayed in Serna Hotel Swat from 4th Aug to 7th Aug...

I have stayed in Serna Hotel Swat from 4th Aug to 7th Aug 2019 along with my family. The approach is very comfortable due to recently build Swat Express. It took me around 3.30 Hours from Islamabad to reach there. Hotel building is a heritage property which was once owned by Wali of Swat. It’s beautifully and articulately designed interior is worth viewing. I have met the manager Mr. Wali Khan in person and found him a thorough gentleman. He has trained his flamboyant staff team quite well. He took me out to the famous Wazir House inside the hotel for brief overview of the building. He guided me about the historic paintings and photographs. Thank you very much for his precious time and the upgrade to the historical royal heritage suite on our last night of stay. The staff was very courteous and helpful. I was flabbergasted by their hospitality. Swimming pool and Gym were well managed. Cleanliness was up to the mark. Food quality and serving was immaculate. We really enjoyed the open air buffet dinner with live BBQ and music. Overall, it was memorable and great trip and my family really enjoyed the stay. It was like a home away from home. I will definitely visit it again In Sha Allah.
