Great value. Excellent, helpful staff. Not the greatest golf course - but its character made up for that. Great wildlife around.

I paid 49 euros for a double room with a private bathroom with a bath. Breakfast wasn't included but I still think this was a bargain. It was so comfortable and looks much better than in the photos. It was a little walk up hill from the centre of Ponte de Lima which was a shame but it was still in a lovely area with supermarket and restaurants near by.

Ponte de Lima is a perfect place for a pilgrim on the Camino to take a rest day. Perfect place to get your laundry done properly, catch up with your sleep. Lots of nice restaurants to eat in. Many interesting alleys to walk through and enough sights to take in a day.

Ponte de Lima is a remarkably well-preserved, historically important village in Northern Portugal. It has been a crossroads for centuries. Probably for a Druids-like culture, definitely for the Romans, for hundreds of thousands of pilgrims walking the historic Camino (Caminho in Portuguese), as well as for people traveling east-to-west from the mountains to the Atlantic.
Today, Ponte de Lima continues to be an important crossroads as well as gathering space for walking & hiking, cyclists, various forms of boating (with a champion training center along the Rio Lima), horse riding, international gardening and more.
It's hard to fully explain how much cultural importance there is in Ponte de Lima for the Minho (region), Portugal (as a country), and, indeed, all of Europe in such a small village. Well worth visiting.
I spent three weeks there, fell in love with the village, and like it so much that I intend to move there.

The village is beautiful as well as the bridge, which we walked from end to end. There were several good restaurants to choose from. Everything is within walking distance. There are great sculptures spread throughout town. We would come again.

My wife and I have been visiting Ponte de Lima for 30 years.
My wife and I have been visiting Ponte de Lima for 30 years. It has changed and become much busier over the years. However, it has managed to retain its friendly low key ambience. It is still possible to recognise the town of years ago despite the changes. A truly lovely place.

Picturesque, regional town, with old architecture and great walks within the town and its hinterland. The town opens onto a broad riverfront with great views including of a historic multi-arched bridge which gives the town its name.

Ponte de Lima is a historic town, with a medieval and a Roman bridge across the Lima. Fascinating. We stayed there overnight as part of a Minho cycling trip (self-arranged).
Had a lovely supper at the Restaurante Encanada.
A lovely hotel. I arrived very early to check in but the wonderful lady at reception made me feel very welcome while I waited. Every member of the staff who we encountered were welcoming and smiling always. The room was very nice, very comfortable beds and a delightful balcony. We took advantage of the spa and had a pilgrims massage. Anna in the spa was Fantastic!
Our breakfast was very nice, many excellent options.
And the location is perfect. Near the old city and the Roman Bridge.
A perfect place for El Camino pilgrims.
The location is wonderful and large with plenty of places to explore, such as a gorge, vineyards, pools and even a chapel. The owner, who also designed the property was very welcoming and the place is a short drive from major attractions in north Portugal. Definitely the property has a lot a character, is authentic in maintaining its original appeal with all the new amenities that are available there and everything is curated to detail. One of the best places to relax and enjoy slow country life away from modern life.
We really enjoyed our stay at Guest House. Diana was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was great and we had a very quiet room (3rd floor, at the back of the hotel). Everything was extremely clean and nice. Rooms and fixtures are modern. Nice common area on each floor. The location was excellent - right in Ponte de Lima and few steps down to the river and Ecovia and many restaurants. I would highly recommend staying here. We would not hesitate to stay here again next time we visit Ponte de Lima.
Everything! The staff are amazing-very attentive to ensuring a comfortable, serene, and enjoyable stay. We were lucky enough to spend 5 nights at Hotel Paco de Vitorino. The grounds are beautiful and include a large pool. The bed was 10 out of 10 for comfort. . It felt like we were on a retreat, yet close enough to drive to Ponte de Lima, Ponte de Barca, Guimaraes, Braga & explore the Minho region. It was an unforgettable experience!!! Thank you!! The property is in a location that allows you to easily visit Viana do Castelo, Valença, Monçao, and Ponte da Barca. The house is gorgeous and spacious. There are 3 en-suite bedrooms and a bedroom downstairs where you would have to go upstairs to use the bathroom. The induction cooktop is a plus. The host was responsive, kind, and helpful. I would recommend it to others.

The rooms were immaculate and right in the heart of the riverside area. Katerina was extremely helpful, recommending a good restaurant, and giving us a good overview of Ponte de Lima. Each room was individually decorated with walls painted to reflect the bedspreads in a particular room. The attention to detail in such a small place was extraordinary.
I had a nice corner room with lots of windows that looked out over the old Roman/Medieval bridge in Ponte de Lima. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The bed was wonderfully comfortable! The temperature of the room was great, I had a remote to control it. Very charming and pleasant place to stay.
Great location - easy to get to Ponte de Lima. The house is very comfortable - loved the big sofa with views of the gorgeous garden. Fernando was really welcoming & helpful. Well equipped kitchen and we made use of the free bikes.
Secure car parking by the house, good wifi, everything worked.
Excellent location, surrounded by nature yet close de Ponte de Lima.
The building in itself was restored with good taste and the facilities are fantastic (pool, outdoor and indoor gym, playground for kids).
Staff is great. Breakfast was very good, especially the "Bolo de Maça"!
The hotel is amazing. The staff is really nice and amswer to every request. The breakfast is off the charts, so many and deicious options. The parking is easy accessible and you feel safe letting your car there. I would recommend it to everyone wanting to visit Ponte de Lima.
Our best stay in Portugal. Gorgeous apartment with a spectacular view. Very responsive and helpful host. Spacious, spotlessly clean, phenomenal kitchen, and right on the main square of this lovely small town. Don’t hesitate—stay here if you can.
The location is lovely, a short drive to Ponte de Lima for shopping, meals out etc, the garden is fabulous, lots of space, listening to the river that flows along side the garden is very relaxing, the pool is amazing, a truly stunning location.
Very stylish hotel that used to be the family grocery store
The amenities were very good
The beds and bed linen were excellent quality and very comfy
Breakfast was sufficient
Staff were very pleasant and helpful
Very good value for money
Perfect location in the middle of the historic centre of Ponte de Vila. The bed was very comfortable, the hotel was very quiet, ensuring a sound sleep. The breakfast was enjoyable and the staff were so kind it made leaving difficult!
Definitely my favourite place so far! If I came back to Portugal for a holiday, I would definitely stay here again. Really comfortable, clean and staff could not be more helpful. A*******
