The location of the hotel was amazing - right on the beach. The view of the sea and coastline was wonderful and the sound proofing against the wind and waves perfect - we couldn't hear a thing.
The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and shower were brilliant.

The hotel, an old palacio, was gorgeous, in lovely grounds. The rooms were decorated with frescoes and old furniture matching the style of the palace. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The included buffet breakfast had many great options to chose from (or have it all!). The tasting menu dinner was delicious and an evening drink on the terrace watching the sun go down was beautiful. There is a path opposite the hotel that shortcuts the hill walk up to Pena Palace or Moorish Castle. It is fairly rough but fine for those who are steady on their feet. Not far from Regaleira palace and Sintra town either.

Beautiful and romantic hotel in a fantastic area with a lot of history. Restaurant is great, well serviced and with delicious homemade and well priced food. Provided breakfast was scrumptious and included a lot of local produce.

Ideal location for visiting Sintra. You can walk almost everywhere but the buses and taxis are nearby. Breakfast was generous and ideal and the staff knowledge of booking activities, including local restaurants was exceptional. They could not have been more helpful.

A nice place to visit but full of tourists. The nature around is beautiful and you can visit some of the attractions but expect a lot of people.
You can find anything from beaches to forests, all in a 15-minute drive.
The roads are narrow and it's hard to park.

There are many historical places in Sintra that can be reached on foot. if you go to the right of the historical museum you can find a small restaurant on the balcony where they bake bread in a wood-fired oven. unfortunately I forgot the name, but you can see the sign. Very charming.
And visit Long Beach and the restaurant near the rock and try octopus on the grill. Very recommended.

The roads are very tight, the crowds of visitors are intense and some of the locals working in local shops/restaurants are very rude and completely over having to deal with tourists. However, the views are amazing and the Moorish Castle was very cool. Difficult place to travel but worth it!

Sintra was a lovely town but I like Aveiro better especially the hotel we stayed in. The hike to the palace is not that hard. Proper hiking shoes and clothes should be worn. It is not a stroll through a park. You will be climbing up and down narrow stairs. Bring water.
The palace is beautiful!.

Very touristy and difficult to manage with a car. Quite pricy. Good food at Tascantiga though.
Pena palace was too busy to enjoy properly though the Moorish castle was great. Shame didn't have enough time to visit Quinta da Regaleira.

really beautiful city. if you have time, you can spend up to 5 days with enough interesting sightseeing to visit. the traffic is heavy so I recommend to take buses or walking because uber/bolts can take too long to arrive where you are.
the best was a hiking from Sinta Palace to the historical center, really nice views
A genuine place to stay (ie NOT a chrome and glass hotel); somewhere that contributed to the experience of being in Sintra/Lisbon/ Portugal. Very friendly staff - but that's also true of amost all of the local people - and we had the pleasure of meeting the owner too.
The swimming pool was very nice and of course the view was stunning.
We were only a short (if quite strenuous) walk up to the centre of the town with bars, restaurants and of course castles to visit. Sintra is wonderful but you must be fit and mobile.
This properties location could not be better.
Minutes on foot from bus stop, train station, and center of Sintra but on a quite non-thru street.
Parking was easy, safe, and free.
Room was elegant, clean, and well appointed with everything in the kitchen you could want.
The Host ,Francisco, could not of been more kind, helpful, and full of the best recommendations for Sintra, Lisbon, & the region.
There are only three villas, all very nice, so I would book this listing immediately.
Charming apartment with amazing views over the old town and the valley. You can also see the Moorish Castle from the other side of the apartment. Sonia was super helpful and friendly. We took a cab from the train station so we didn't have to deal with our luggage. I'm glad we did. Those hills in Sintra are no joke! Quinta Regaleira and the National Palace of Lisbon are an easy walk. I recommend both! Lovely town. We stayed two nights, and I could have easily stayed more!
This was a huge apartment, with close proximity to the main areas of sintra. For us, it was a bonus that it wasn’t in the centre, and therefore close to free parking, since we had a rental car. Antonio was very helpful and gracious in helping us to get settled. Bedrooms were very comfortable, and we appreciated the space as this was our first night in Portugal after flying overseas, so it was a good spot to try and settle our jet lag.
Beautiful mountain views of Sintra Vila below and the Castle above. Enjoyed the quiet village life of Sao Pedro - a gem in itself. Isa was an ideal host who provided all the necessary comforts and expert orientation on all the attractions of the Sintra area and beyond. I wish I could have stayed longer. A wonderful place to relax and refresh. Thank you Isa for an excellent start to my first visit to Portugal!
View is great. The property is a little oasis, ? former orchard. you can see the castle and Pena palace from the property. Pool looks good but we did not use it. Beds were comfortable enough, i.e. soft on top ( rarity in Portugal). Breakfast was fairly standard but we loved it - best bread we had in Portugal. We also liked the access to the communal kitchen, although for us it was just for coffee.
This studio was the perfect choice for a relaxing stay at the most stunning beaches of Portugal. Strawberries, bodyboards, bike, yoga mat, a huge terrace with lots of privacy and different seating spots in the garden. In the night you could hear the sea. The studio was extremely clean & comfortable with lots of things for daily use. I would definitely recommend this studio to everybody!
Breakfast was perfect, provided at cafe over the road. Probably the best breakfast we had during our time in Portugal. Staff were super friendly and gave us some handy tips for our stay in Sintra. Room was clean and spacious and bed was really comfy. Location was perfect - near train station, near nice restaurants and reasonable walking distance to all main sites.
The place is in a great location, the ocean view you get from here is amazing. It's also nice to have caffees and restaurants just outside, plenty to choose from. Souldough pizzeria, is the best Pizza you find in Portugal and is not far away. Toilet was all renovated, amazing shower too.
The Sintra Bliss Hotel seemed to be taken out of commission, so the hotel told us they upgraded all reservations to their sister hotel called the Sintra BOUTIQUE Hotel. Everything at Sintra Boutique Hotel was wonderful. Absolutely nothing negative to say about our stay.
This was our first night in Portugal and it was perfect. The staff is so kind and helpful. The breakfasts are delicious and the rooms are extremely comfortable. We also loved the wine and cheese evening - so much fun with the staff at the sister hotel. Thank you!
Very supportive and attentive staff, amazing breakfast (best we had in Portugal), perfect location with a free parking spot right in front of the hotel. Just make sure you take the right exit to reach the hotel, otherwise it will take you on a 40 minute detour.
Loved the location of this boutique hotel in Sintra. It was a little hard to get to at first if you didn't know the area. We dragged out carry ons up a hill to get there. Beautiful and clean hotel with lovely balcony.
Everything! The place is adorable, room was nice and had everything needed. Zilda’s scrambled eggs in the morning have been the best I’ve had since being in Portugal and breakfast with a view was a huge bonus.
Beautiful property in a picturesque spot. Wish we could have stayed an extra night, this was by far the best place we stayed during our week in Portugal. Pool was perfect, location is close to everything.
Location super. We really loved all the small village had to offer. Supermarcado. Nice places to eat. The beach and walking trails. Access to local sites in Sintra and reasonably close to Lisbon.
The Sintra Boutique Hotel is an immaculate property to stay at. The standard rooms are spacious, clean, well appointed with amenities and the beds are sooo comfortable!
Beautiful boutique hotel in a 18 century building
Bed is super comfortable
Loved the bathtub
The bar is so unique, it’s in a former chapel
