where can I start? Quinta do Corço is probably the coolest place I ever stayed in. The facilities are amazing, the location is 1000/10 (you basically have the lake just for your self), the staff is the nicest and the food is amazing. I’m so pity we just stayed one night. Would easily stay there one week 😊 We will definitely return!

The Quinta is situated in a quiet spot, yet close to the Ecopista do Sabor, ie. the hiking and bicycly path that runs through the valley for 35 kilometres. This makes the Quinta an exceptional place if you want to explore the surroundings. Angelo and his family are very hospitable. We could use their bikes, and in the morning the even had fresh cake for us. Very lovely hosts! The room was very good as well: a comfortable bed, the bathroom had all the toiletries you need, and there was a coffee maker, microwave and some bread so you could have a good breakfast.

Our stay at Rate Casa de Santa Cruz in Felgar was an absolute gem! Nestled in a quaint, tranquil village in northern Portugal, this hotel was a true discovery for us. The courtyard with its inviting pool added a touch of serenity to our experience. Despite visiting during the winter months, the hotel was wonderfully warm and welcoming. The communal spaces on the ground floor, with their stone walls and a fireplace crackling with logs, were particularly enchanting. It was the perfect setting to unwind on a quiet winter evening, perhaps enjoying a movie amidst the cozy atmosphere. Our room was incredibly spacious, bright, and impeccably clean, with separate access to the pool area. Additionally, I must mention that from the pool terrace, you can investigate the night sky. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in a picturesque setting.

The vew from the hotel over the city and surroundings is great. It is worth to pay a little more to have pool view which actually means view of the city. Breakfast was okay but coffee is not the best. Fantastic staff, really nice and helpful. The hotel has a indoor pool and an outdoor pool (this one was being clean but not problem since it is not yet so warm as feeling like going to the pool). We were happy to find such a nice hotel in this location. We will be back and we highly recommend it.
