This was one of the best locations we ever stayed. It is a very lovely quiet place, located on a hilltop overlooking the Douro valley. The room was spacious, with a very good bed and a balcony with a magnificient view. It The hosts own the winery around the house and were very nice and friendly.. Every morning they prepared a very good breakfast and they gave us also a lot of information. We also enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool. It was just perfect.

This is an exceptional place to stay in the Douro valley and off the tourist trap area! The views and facility and food is unbelievable!! We stayed only one night and wish we had stay at least two or three!!
Incredibly rude staff! We have never been so insulted in our lives by hotel staff and Ana, Daniella and especially by owner Pedro.
The place itself was stunning, but the rooms and bathrooms were tired and in need of repair.
We also have no hot water and heating did not work, there was very little firewood and no fire-starters or kindling so we were very cold, it was raining and freezing!
Wont be back! We do not recommend
