The location is very nice and away from everything. Unless your room has a nice view from the balcony, the only other choice is to hang out by the pool, which is packed as it's open to the public.

We enjoyed our quiet room with a very nice view to the castle. As we were travelling with our baby they provided us with a foldable crib which was already installed in our room when we arrived. The crib has an extra cost per night, but it was very useful.
The SPA and pool area were not crowded at all. They have dedicated staff who collect the used towels so you always find free sunbeds.
The food at the restaurant is very tasty and they have very kind waiters that provided us with a high chair for the baby at every meal.

Check-in was fast. The room was spacious and clean. It had all the amenities you need. The terrace outside of the room had the castle view. In the restaurant, the prices were good, the service excellent. Food came quick and it was delicious.

The room was clean and cosy. The bathroom was nice and tidy, also. Good value for money, very close to Corvin Castle. No parking at the property, we have used the parking across the road, to the cooling tower as it was a 24-hour parking, 15 lei (€3 for 12 hours).

This was more than a weekend stay away from home, it was like a visit to friends&family. Crina was so kind to wait for us despite our very late arrival ( at 1 a.m.) We felt welcomed and so did our pet Haribo, who was immensely happy to play in the huge garden. The place, just 10 minutes away from Hunedoara, is lovely, quiet and surrounded by beautiful nature. The little house (casuta) was immaculate and with everything you needed. Aside is a summer kitchen fully equipped with fridge, stove, dishes and a coffee machine. There are a lot of benches in the garden where you can relax and enjoy a quiet afternoon. And last but not least Crina, her husband and lovely 10 years old Denisa are among the most welcoming hosts we have ever met. Thank you !
