Simona made our stay truly magical. We got care that we have never experienced anywhere else. She was always available she prepared extremely tasty breakfast and dinner for us and helped us with everything. I didn't think there was such a level of professional care that a host could provide. We loved every minute of it despite the bad weather. Extremely extremely highly recommended place!

The location being close to the airport was a key factor in our planning. However, I would consider staying at the Grad Strmol on future trips both on arriving as well as on departure. It was fabulous.

The town is not far from the Julian Alps and from Ljubljana.
The town is not far from the Julian Alps and from Ljubljana. Even Postojna or the seaside towns can be visited from Cerklje. There is a good skiing slope in the vicinity. I recommend this town for summer and winter holidays as well.

The room had everything we needed and was very clean. In the morning there was literally no staff around, even for check-out - we simply left the room keys at the counter. Still, all of this didn't make us uncomfortable, on the contrary - we had a feeling the whole lodge (along with a few goats and horses on the hotel premise) belongs to us.VladislavSlovenia

The location is beautiful, surrounded by mountains with lots of hiking trails around. The staff of the hotel is very friendly and welcomes you very warmly and are very attentive. The rooms are very clean. The lunch/dinner and breakfast were very good! Definitely recommend this place.

There were not many options but the food was really good and great value for the money. (10€ a meal buying it in advance at arrival)

The room was comfortable and had new appliances and 2 tvs. The property has a great playground for kids. Luka was kind and helpful he picked us up from the hotel and had good communication. The breakfast was also really good. We were completely satisfied.

Supermarket is 10 min’ away by car. Cool playground for younger kids. In general, the stuff was friendly (except of one who was in charge there who was totally impolite at the checkout)

It is also good if one wants to be close Lubliana. Nothing to do in the area of the hotel, simply nothing. Go there only if you have a car, of course.
