The interior is perfect, it’s the best place to stay in the mountains. Everything is close. You have everything to relax after long skiing day: perfect shower, a clean bed, a kitchen with everything you may need, two rooms with wine and alcohol to relax, etc. We didn’t try the sauna, but will definitely choose this place for more than 1-day stay next time.

Nova Lesna is The Perfect Place to stay when you want to visit the High Tatras. It is close, it has great value for money and has some really beautiful places to stay at with spectacular view. I have been here twice so far but definitely will come back every time we want to go hiking in these beautiful mountains. The train is close by and quick, there are shops here and so many options to choose where you want to stay.

It is a small village about 10 min by train from Poprad or Stary Smokovec where the mountains start. There are trains at least once an hour in each direction. Clean, very quiet and with a beautiful view of High Tatras. As it is a little village it is hard to find many shops and restaurants there. The nearest supermarkets are Billa and Kaufland near the Poprad station. There is a nice local vine shop in the village and a slovak cuisine krčma (tavern).AndrewUkraine - 10Scored 10

Nová Lesná is beautiful country town, with incredible views to the slovakian mountains - High Tatras. Close to Starý Smokovec which is starting point for the most wonderful mountain trails. Highly highly recommend!

For those who are planning to hike, the location of the chalet brings a lot of opportunities to start your journey and reach the top 😄. Tatra Tram station Nová Lesná is only 15 minutes walking. If you are to bring your own food there is a clean and fully equipped kitchen available. Free coffee and premium organic tea. Convenient check-in. Shared kitchen fully equiped (we were the only users at this time), could be a little bit cleaner, especially cuttlery and pans. Very friendly, professional and helpful host. Nova Lesna is a good location if you have a car and use it for both visiting nearby Tatra mountains and historical cities such as Levoča, Kežmarok, Spišska Nova Ves, etc.

A very beautiful house, equipped with mind, soul and taste. Very responsive and hospitable owner. For an additional cost, you can use the sauna, bar and vinotheque equipped in the house. Close to the resort Tatranska Lomnica, by car 7 minutes, or you can use the train in 5 minutes walk. I recommend!!
