You have to understand Amarillo before arriving there.
You have to understand Amarillo before arriving there. This is an oil town so that's how this city will smell. It was very apparent as we walked in the city. Outside of that, the people were very friendly and the Mayor even came out to visit us and express his thanks for our group visiting Amarillo.

Amarillo has everything you could ask for, good places to stay and alot of good places to eat, shopping and entertainment, we have stayed at the cactus cove inn many times when it was under other names. We like to go to the bar and have fun and dance, its convenient we dont have to leave , we can walk to our room. We were supposed to stay again on our way back to Tx from Colorado but there was a storm! I called and let them know there’s no way we can proceed there was tornado and we were scared to proceed so we found a haunted house on the middle of nowhere!
