Breakfast was ok..just had fruit and yogurt. The room was nice, clean but a little dated..kinda smelled like old carpet..musty like. Other than that great location..staff helpful and friendly.

As long as you do not spend any time or money at the Anderson Inn, in Anderson, Indiana. You will have a good chance of enjoying yourself. But if you stay at the Anderson Inn, you can expect ROACHES running across the furniture, and a chance of taking them home in your clothes and luggage.

Very disappointed.
Very disappointed. Not at all clean...the stairs were dirty had standing water by ice maker and soda machine my shower looked like it had not been clean. The shower curtain was stained. Sink took forever for water to drain. Beds were very uncomfortable. Gentleman that checked you in was extremely short hurried totally unpleasant. Same person checked me out but locked me out of the room while I was loading my car he deactivated the key card 15 minutes before checkout time and when I went to the desk to let him know I needed back in he got angry. Never stay there again nor recommend it to anyone.

Our stay was great!
Our stay was great! Our room was ready early, the front desk was helpful and called a shuttle to the casino. The hot tub was the perfect temperature for my boyfriend and he is picky about that! The grounds were very clean. We would stay here again!

For an overnight stay it is good.
For an overnight stay it is good. For long term, not so much. The pillows and blankets are not that comfortable. The TV is confusing to find a channel you don't have to pay for. Not pet friendly. Only one item for breakfast. The building is old and needs renovation.

There are many businesses and restaurants to shop and dine. The Mounds State Park is beautiful and seren. Family oriented city with plenty of attractions for the whole family, for couples, or if you are enjoying some alone time. Dairy Queen offers excellent food and a delicious banana split.

I was born there. My family lives there.
I was born there. My family lives there.
So it will always have a soft spot in my heart.
My grandparents worked and retired from Delco and Guide Lamp. If there isn’t one, I would love to see a museum for these two places, so descendants of GM workers can see what their grandparents did for a living.
It is sad to see all the open lots where the buildings use to be.
I would like to see Mounds Mall area be built back up.
It’s sad to see so many empty buildings.
As always The Holiday Inn Express met our expectations. If we need somewhere to stay we seek out a Holiday Inn Express. My husband loved the hot oatmeal and I enjoyed the pork sausage. The sweet lady working in the dining area was friendly and kept everything refilled and all areas were clean and inviting. Loved our clean room and comfortable bed. I would certainly recommend this hotel and use it again if we are in the area.
That I left and booked at a different hotel.unfortunately it was no refund and now I know why bc it was horrible the pictures on the website are not honest my 4 year old would not even wash her hands in the dirty sink we literally walked in or room kids would not touch anything used the restroom and left and that was scary
The Fairfield Inn in Anderson has improved considerably. The rooms seemed to had been updated. The bathrooms also seem to had gotten an upgrade. I liked the coffee-microwave-refrigerator station. Comfortable beds. Very clean common areas as well as the rooms.
Price, location, room size was big. We had a dog and had a ground floor room so easy to get in and out. Bed linen and towels were clean. Parking lot had plenty of space close to our room.
Staff was very friendly and attentative. Hotel is tucked away off the main road making it a quiet stay. Lobby and hallways smelled really clean and bathrooms were also clean.
The hotel was quiet and away from the busy road and there thankfully wasn't anyone panhandling, which has happened to me at other hotel locations in the past.
