Very comfortable cabin even in the winter with central heating and a gas fire. Atmospheric and cozy in a quiet woodland setting. Very nice kitchen and bathroom. This is obviously a vacation home, so it has the charm of its owners and the kitchen especially had everything one could need.

Reception was warm and personal. Wonderful views across the sound to the cascade moutains. Tasty items included for afternoon tea and breakfast.

Property is really near Clinton ferry terminal and has great cafes and supermarket near by

The property was adorable and clean. It was comfortable to stay in. Bed was comfy and the kitchenette had enough to make dinner! Something not pictured is a little plug in stove top...so if you have food allergies and are someone who has to cook for yourself and are not really able to go out much...this kitchen has enough to be able to cook yourself a meal. YAY! The host is very set on not having anyone else at the house, we asked to have our disabled friend be able to come pick us up so that we could ride all together to the 1st Annual Ren Faire together. We asked if our friend could park in the driveway, just long enough basically to come in and see the cottage herself (she was interested in possibly booking a stay there as well) and wanted to see what it was like inside as she is disabled and needed to know if there were necessary accommodations... and then we were going to all jump into her car and drive to the faire. (meaning we would still only leave our one registered car parked in the driveway and no one else would be staying the night at the property). This wouldn't have been breaking any pre mentioned property rules. The owner of the cottage wasn't accommodating with that. I understand if you let someone have accommodations it can cause issues. But I wasn't asking anything crazy or to break their preset rules. So just know if you stay here there are no exceptions AT ALL...very rigid with rules. So make sure you understand the property rules before hand and don't ask for anything beyond what is outlined.

My husband and I needed a nice getaway in a quiet location with our two dogs. This house was a great getaway for us over the Christmas holidays! We drove over 1,300 miles from sunny San Diego to Whidbey Island, and we are thrilled with our trip and vacation! The house is quite spacious and cozy. Magnificent spacious kitchen with everything you need! Large bathroom, spacious shower, the house is warm and, most importantly, completely quiet! There is a forest all around, neighboring houses can be seen through the trees, but there is still a feeling of complete privacy. The bedroom is impressive with panoramic windows and a skylight right above the bed! Sometimes at night the moon looked into it - so romantic! More than enough storage space, and two huge work tables with shelves and books. You can sit next to the huge windows and enjoy reading books in silence that you usually don’t have time to read. But you definitely need to see the whole island! It is very green, beautiful and cozy. We were especially impressed with the number of dog-friendly places to go! My husband and I were surprised at how many dog owners there are on such a small island! And it was especially unusual to meet people here, just like us, who had come with their dogs from afar to relax on Whidbey. Walks along endless beaches, along the Langley embankment, Greenbank Off-Leash Area Park - you can’t count it all! And of course the town of Langley - stunning, like a toy, with Christmas decorations - it's just a fairy tale! There are many wonderful shops, restaurants and cafes - you can spend six months here and not get tired of it! Special thanks to the testing room Ott & Hunter Wines for the great wines! The house was wonderful; cozy, comfortable, clean and well equipped. It was also peaceful and quiet, which is what we wanted, but it was also only a short drive to stores and food shopping. We found it to be the perfect getaway.

Breakfast brought to your room each morning was wonderful! Very convenient and walking distance to Langley. Rocking chair on the porch and watching the view. We would definitely return!!

Location was perfect as it was 1/2 mile from where our family gathered for our reunion. Peaceful setting and perfect place to relax after a day of activity and exploring.
