The hotel has a lot of charm as it has been physically relocated from a ghost town near by many years ago. The owners did a great job preserving a lot of the original decoration while making it comfortable.

Cozy tents at a nice location on our way to Death valley. Bathrooms were clean with enough hot water, right next to tents was a small kitchen with microvave and coffee maker (coffee was complimentary).
The food in the restaurant was tasty and the staff was helpful and friendly. There was also a fire pit and we got smores kit for free).
We had multiple blankets in the tent and a heater, and we highly recommend using both (we stayed in May and the temperatures dropped from 20 °C over the day to 5 °C at night).
This Bridgeport motel features guest rooms with free WiFi. It has a designated dog walk area. The office is open between 08:30 to 11.00 and 15.00 to 23:00 hours.

Small town with good food. Many attractions around.
Small town with good food. Many attractions around. We visited the travertine hot springs, which are very accesible open to the public for free. And Bodie, gold mining boom ghost town. Green creek and meadows. Virginia lakes Lundy lakes and Mono Lake.

We loved staying in the heart of the historic town of Bridgeport California. We found the people of the town of Bridgeport to be very friendly and made us feel right at home. Despite being a small town, there are many food options available in the local restaurants. The scenery of the majestic Sierra Nevada mountains surrounding this town are breathtaking!

Perfect place to stop for the night on our journey to SoCal. We got to enjoy the incredible scenery of the East side of the Sierras with a stop at Manzanar. Recommend stopping at Nicelies for breakfast after Mono Lake!

Much nicer than I expected. Very clean and fresh feeling.
Much nicer than I expected. Very clean and fresh feeling. I will stay here again, no need to look anywhere else. Relative had a room down the street and it did not even come close to the comfort level I had at Redwood motel. They also will now book at Redwood motel for their next trip.

Only a couple eating places open, and you have a choice of burger haven, a deli, a brewery (closed at 2pm), ice cream place, and the Bridgeport Inn restaurant which had poor food reviews. We chose to eat outdoors so we had deli sandwiches at Alberts. Not good.
The Queen plus room at the motel is very well equipped for a cabin style stay. You feel like you are in a spa at the en-suite bathroom. The A/C kept the room cool in the summer. Food was amazing at on-site restaurant. We ate there for both dinner and breakfast. They didn't fail to impress! The inn keeper also offered a goodie bag that has a smore kit, food for trout and other misc items. Very thoughtful. We wish we had more time there before we had to head back to San Fran. I am sure John Wayne felt the same. :-)
Because it was cheaper than other places I’d stayed in town, I was a little leery. I’d also heard the parking was “tight” and it was. I worried about dents, to be honest, although I didn’t experience any. Inside was comfortable and fairly clean, although the grime around the door handles and locks on the inside was off putting. That should have been an easy fix with a few swipes of a sponge. Overall, my stay was neutral. The TV and wifi were reliable. I appreciated the quaintness of the motel’s exterior.
Very welcoming, personal and communications were great. Met my needs passing through from Tahoe to Mammoth. Very well priced and comfortable. Expectations should not be luxury, it was a great value option on a Saturday night with a comfortable, clean room with all the basics (Wifi, TV, communication and hospitality) well covered. Just outside of downtown Bridgeport (~2 blocks downtown) provides incredible Sierra views outside your doorstep.
A really unique location, designed as a mini old west town. Great price and location; simple and clean. It's located right off the 395 highway, but the noise didn't bother me. My unit had a shared/separate bathroom/shower...but was also inexpensive (about half the cost of a nearby Motel 6) If you're looking for cute and charming, clean and convenient, but NOT luxurious...this is it!
It was a nice surprise when we got there and hotel, rooms.... were really better than pictures. It is located outside Yosemite when you cross it from west to east. It looks to be situated un mid of anything, town doesn´t appear to be California. But hotel is clean, big rooms, comfortable beds, quiet, nice to rest "in route". Thanks a lot for your attention.
Almost nothing…. Room was poor and not renovated. Beds were not comfortable. No air conditioning in the room. Phone did not work. Tv did not work so we had to go to the office and ask the employe to come and fix it, what she did. Wifely worked in the office or nearby…. Bathroom very tiny…. The office lobby was closed all night and did not open until 8 am….
Nice environment surrounded by farmland, great sunsets from the porch. Room is clean and well appointed, plenty of usb outlets and wall sockets. Bathroom is great, hot showers with good water pressure. Location is good for visiting Bodie and it is convenient to go get food at Bridgeport.
Family owned business. Excellent facilities and property. Laundry facilities. Guests are treated to a bonfire every evening. There is a nice hiking trail in the back of the property. Lovely grounds with barbecues as well. Minuets from Bodie or Bridgeport
The location of the hotel is right on Highway 395. So it is a good place to stay for anyone visiting Mammoth Lakes, Yosemite , etc. The room is clean and large enough. No breakfast is available. But you will get coffee in the morning.
30 mins to Mono lake, a restaurant, and a bar right inside the motel (approx. $20 per food and it does not matter if it is a dinner or breakfast, but great local beer for $9), really authentic room
It’s a very cute town and this is a modest but nice hotel. Staff was great, room was clean and comfortable. Loved the view out the back of my room. It was right on a creek.
I stayed in a covered wagon and loved everything about it. The nearby bathroom and bath house was perfect and clean. The restaurant staff was excellent and so friendly.
