Front clerk not nice. Requested non smoking room, but smelled if cigarettes. Very noisy both from guest and train close by. Advertised breakfast (eggs, sausage, toast, cereal etc.) but when we went to eat all that was available (thus was at 7:45am) one hard boiled egg, 3 little cheerios packs, and a trace of waffle batter. No scrambled eggs, juice machine was turned around and not available, no fruit…if you are going to advertise breakfast, you need to provide it. I would tell others to look at other hotels that are in the area before this one.

We were here for one night on our way home from a vacation to Yellowstone & the Grand Tetons. Great place to stop. The room was large, the bed comfortable, & the breakfast had several options. It was the perfect place to stay for our last night on the road.

We loved the Cowgirl museum (free!), Botanical gardens (free!), and Governor’s mansion (free!). Walking around downtown was nice and we had a delicious lunch from the truck, “Noam’s table” which is parked at the Depot ( felafel and other delicious and filling fare). Everyone at the museums was very helpful and friendly.

Cheyenne was great, a wonderful place to visit.
Cheyenne was great, a wonderful place to visit. We took the scenic ride
to the Medicine Bow national forest. What's not to like about
any place in Wyoming. We got pizza from Hambones Pizza which was
very good. Also, several selections from Panera were super. Frontier Mall was full of good stores.
We were assigned a room in Block 5, it was a beautiful room with a separate lounge area with comfortable seating. Bathroom was large and towels soft. We used the pool area for an hour which was good. This is more a country hotel with lots of wood panelling and oversize furniture in the main building but everything about it was just right. We liked it a lot, probably the best place we’ve stayed for the best money in 3 weeks on the road. Would have stayed longer if we could have.
The hotel has a great front desk area. Upon coming to our room, I pulled the blankets back as I always do. There was a dead bug on the sheets. I called down to have a worker bring clean sheets up. She commented they were too busy. So I went down to get them. I tried to put the sheets on, they were the wrong size. I called back down and someone brought clean sheets in the correct size. Our AC is only blew like a fan, it isn’t cool at all.
The price
We needed a socket to plug in a CPAP, we had to move the queen size bed
To find a socket. The manager did offer to refund our money or we could move
To another room. After driving 12 hours with the last three hours pouring rain
And dense fog and after unpacking moving to another room in the pouring rain
Was not appealing! The bathroom was adequate plus had hot water.
This is a wonderful bed and breakfast, and Ellyn is the best hostess we have ever had the pleasure of staying with. She was extremely accommodating to our needs. She prepared a wonderful breakfast both mornings that we were there. Every space in the home is filled with treasures and beautifully decorated. We definitely recommend this to all travelers to the Cheyenne area.
Was very old and not clean. We are not picky hotel people but I was grossed out. We got the room with a pull-out sofa and it was broken there were no sheets on our beds or pillows. Front desk clerk was nice enough but not very professional. A lot of riff-raff and unsavory people here. Only stayed for one night on our way to Montana. Would not return.
Only breakfast bar i ever had to get a ticket to go to and did not serve eggs, or meat, very limited on other items, waffle pan was crusted and even after spraying oil on it waffles still stuck, just not the breakfast in used to getting even at lower budget rooms.
Brand new hotel so very clean, comfortable, good breakfast, attentive staff. Not too impressed with location: seems it was built to cater to contractors working at nearby refineries. Best restaurants & tourist attractions ni d of far away 8-10 miles).
The food was decent, not the best but decent enough for this hotel that seemed to be very vacant. it was very clean & everyone was very polite. The main hotel decor was nice - americana. We were amazed to see there were so many ball rooms.
Safe location, clean up-to-date rooms, comfortable beds, excellent front desk staff. I stay here a lot for work. It’s expensive but I come back because best hotel in Cheyenne for work/traveler stays.
I chose this hotel because they would accept my two medium-sized dogs. After complaining about the noise from the nearby railroad and some initial resistance, they allowed me to change rooms.
Very nice & helpful front desk person.
Close to city center although many other hotels along the road nearby were also.
Could walk to a steakhouse restaurant (just a few minutes away.)
Loved the historic beauty of the hotel and all of the preserved features. Location is great-right in the middle of historic Cheyenne. Very close to shops and restaurants
The breakfast was really really good. The staff was amazing and so friendly. The room was clean and we were provided extra towels and blankets when asked
