DoubleTree Boston North Shore Danvers, hotel in Danvers

Discover this hotel near historic Salem, just off I-95. This hotel has a full service spa and various dining options.

The breakfast was supposed to be free and it wasn't - it was $40.00. I thought that was very deceiving. I thought it was unfortunate that I could not workout until 7am which I needed to be on the road by then . I think this alone will cause you to miss a lot of opportunities. I travel with large groups for a soccer team and we need to go to a gym but will need to go where this is feasible. If you could open the gym by 5:30 or even 6am I think it would make a difference. Many places open at 5am or have 24/7 access. Please consider as this area has a huge soccer crowd for tournaments.

Knight's Inn Boston/Danvers, hotel in Danvers

Knight’s Inn Boston/Danvers is located in Danvers. The property has an on-site restaurant. A refrigerator, satellite TV, and work desk are included in each guest room at the motel.

Great budget option outside of Boston! It took us about 20 minutes to drive here from the airport. We checked in very late (12:30AM) with friendly staff and no problems. The room was large and had a nice set of basic accommodations. Everything seemed clean and functional and everything was very straightforward. Good option for around 100$/night!

Danvers is very close to Salem and the accommodations at Sonesta were fantastic. We were so close we decided to Uber/Lift back and forth to the hotel. We were right next door to a shopping center/Mall/restaurants. We definitely would recommend staying in Danvers.

A great jumping off point is you are a history buff. Danvers was the historic Salem Village in the 16th, early 17th century, They changed the name when township was granted and to try to get away from the bad press of the witchcraft events.

Don’t stay at this hotel. Do not waste your money.

Don’t stay at this hotel. Do not waste your money. Sleep in your car or anywhere else. Horrific experience. Broken safety locks, wires hanging out of the walls, bugs in the room, hair in the tub,. There is no way the room was cleaned between occupants. Spent $150 at Walmart to buy sheets and towels the cause the hotel was so unbelievably dirty.

    Such a lovely little place!

Such a lovely little place! Close to everything we wanted to do, but also far enough away that it wasn’t loud or too busy. The historic homes and buildings around are to die for! My husband and I are actually talking about moving up there in the not-too-distant future :-)

The property was right next to downtown Danvers. An easy walk downtown or to a nearby hiking trail. Giannia (sp?) is absolutely lovely! She was charming, friendly and very welcoming to her home. Her family was all around and just a happy little group. Giannia was responsive to a minor issue and handled it immediately. The suite was very nice and clean. It had all one needs for a comfortable stay. This is a happy place!!

We went for a musical theater competition with my son's MT team. We loved the location, layout and rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was great. We went for dinner and breakfast. We would have liked a place to get lunch in the hotel, even if it was grab and go. We will definitely stay again!

Front desk staff were helpful and friendly. The area felt safe. The room was very clean and comfortable. There are lots of stores and restaurants close by. Even though the hotel is located on a very busy road, it is set back from it enough that there is no road or traffic noise.
