We sat in the hot tub and stayed in the garden room, which is a private room off the main house. It has a history of its own. I won't ruin it for you but it's star-studded. Deer came up the next morning and grazed in the yard. Really you have to see this place to believe it.

Great small town with manty antique shops and several great restaurants. Most of the shops are closed on Mondays with limited Sunday hours. Best time to visit is a Friday - Saturday stay. Cute fireworks display for July 4th.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10
Florence is a perfectly quaint little town. Almost Mayberry!
Florence is a perfectly quaint little town. Almost Mayberry! Lots of fun little stores. All surrounded by mountains and the Biggest most beautiful sky! I could just sit and watch the clouds changing artistry as the world turned. There is a really interesting castle. And nice campgrounds and lake.

Interesting shops to browse, beautiful town, extremely friendly people. We met and chatted with several very interesting folks. Variety of restaurants to choose from. We're planning to return soon.
