Location was not ideal, but that’s nobody’s fault. The facility itself was beautiful and staff was so friendly- we loved the front desk guy, I dont know his name though. When we asked for more towels he gave us 4 and since we’re girls that need a lot of towels we were very appreciative 😊

Everything about this hotel was superior, the room and furnishings, the very welcoming staff, the location and the view.
The price was quite a bit lower than we have paid for accommodation at several other hotels/motels along the Oregon coast - considering the overall level this is extremely good value for money.
This was the last night of our holiday - what a lovely way to cap off a great trip.

All of it! Rachel and Dale were fantastic hosts! The lodge is just a magical place, you must see the waterfall, it's fairy grotto heaven! The room was spectacularly well-appointed, and the breakfast and the other guests were wonderful. The three dogs are really friendly and so is the cat! The frog chorus was a surprise but not intrusive, even next door's cockerel was well-mannered and waited till nearly 7 before announcing his presence.
If you read a negative review of this place that person has no soul and should be confined to staying in Days Inns!

Lots of room for the family as opposed to a hotel room. Location was one minute away from HWY 101 and only a couple minutes from a bunch of beach entrances.

The staff was lovely and checked me in quickly. The location is great. Gold Beach itself strikes me as a struggling small town, kind of industrial, but you can get anywhere from here. Beach access is easy and a good restaurant is across the street. You have a perfectly good microwave and fridge, and it's more quiet than I would expect being right on the 101. You get plenty of good hot water for baths and showers which I really appreciated.

We come up for Bike the Rogue in September a cycling fundraiser by the Gold Beach rotary for college scholarships. My husband loves the golf course Cedar bend. Nice restaurants for a nice dinner... Spinners and the Landing North are our favorites along with the Tav for more casual dining... Double D's for breakfast. Jerry's Jet boat tours are great... Highly recommend.

If I can retire anywhere on the Oregon coast.
If I can retire anywhere on the Oregon coast. Gold beach would be the town. You have the ocean on one side and beautiful mountains on the other side. I love seeing houses up there especially at night when you can see the lights. I love the bridge. I just love it. It’s very quiet too. Just want I need. Peace and quite.

The nicest Motel 6 I've ever stayed in.
The nicest Motel 6 I've ever stayed in. The manager gave us a second floor room so we'd have a nice view over the bridge and water. Place was meticulously clean. The room is basic, nothing fancy at all, but clean and beds were comfortable.

The Jerry’s Jet Boat ride is highly recommended for a relaxing and fun trip on the Rogue River that leads to the ocean. The Gold Beach Visitors center is located a short distance from the beach, a good first stop with friendly and informed staff. Then follow that with a walk on the beach. The basic lodgings and eateries are few in this small town. TuTuTin Lodge, located on the Rogue River, is refined and exceptional with delicious breakfast and dinners although not family or pet oriented.

The town itself, was very disappointing.
The town itself, was very disappointing. Obviously, Gold Beach is in a depressed state. There were very few eating options, even less DINING choices. Spinners, within walking distance of the hotel, was closed the two days we were in Gold Beach. We found The Landing acceptable, barely. A meatball sandwich we shared at a nearby pizza parlor was terrible.
Driving through Brookings, it appears it may have been worth driving 20+ miles to eat at a reputable dining establishment.
We also noticed when going into a local market (McKay's), how unfriendly/borderline rude the local people seemed to be.
We traveled and spent one day in Bandon, and had a wonderful time. We found it clean, accommodating, friendly, offering of a variety of inviting eating places with fresh delicious food served with a smile, and interesting and lovely stores for shopping.
Thankfully, the hotel itself and the easy access to the beach made our visit to the coast a pleasant one. The town itself could improve itself to be more inviting to visitors.
Nice hotel with a very nice and secluded location on a ridge above Gold Beach. Very pleasant outdoor area with, among other things, benches, and barbecue facilities. This was a pleasant surprise and diversion from the motels that are usually right next to the main street or a freeway.
We were greeted in a friendly and professional manner when we arrived, and I got a positive impression of the service. Seemed to be a well-run place. As for the rooms, this is a very standard Motel 6, as you would like to know it from countless another Motel 6

Beautiful river right in front of our room with views to the ocean and Gold Beach. Sea lions played around the boat dock. Great view of the bridge.
Large room with sliding door on the 3rd floor was clean and bright, looked HGTV ready in beachy colors. Nearby Gold Beach excellent for walking and sunset views. Tried locally bewed Arch Rock beer at the nearby restaurant and rock fish with a caper sauce.
This has to be one of the top 5 cleanest motels I stayed in, I've stayed at high-end motels and hotels and this one tops the list! I check out everything, corners in the room, hairs in the bed, blankets, sheets, pillowcases, and the bathroom. I really inspect the bathroom, I hate hairs in the sink, shower, or tube! I carry infrared light also! Top-end hotels I stayed at, Ritz, Hyatt, Vegas, and ect.
A lovely place along the Rogue River on the outskirts of Gold Beach. The view was enchanting even on a cold, rainy afternoon. There was a small outdoor patio which would have been perfect to relax on a warm, sunny afternoon. The indoor hot tub in a separate building was a welcome bonus. Lots of handy parking. The room was spacious and very clean.
There was no breakfast offered. Had to check in and out at the hotel down the road. Several rooms were under renovation. But the view was great and the jetted tub was so relaxing. Access to the beach was a few yards but an easy walk.
Amazing Lodge stay close to Gold Beach. We stayed only one night (but would have loved to stay longer) and so enjoyed Dale‘s hospitality, the lovely property’s surroundings, fire, hammock, kids area, animals, amazing breakfast.
Everything was very comfortable! Very quaint and relaxing. You can see the ocean from the window in the top bedroom when you wake up in the morning. Looks just like the pictures. Close to just about everything in Gold Beach.
Location of hotel is near the beach with a nice view of the water. You will have to walk a bit to get to the ocean but it's worth it. We ate at the restaurant on the premises for dinner which was reasonable and very good.
Helpful staff that recommended great Mexican restaturant nearby - La Casita de Oro, best way to reach Gold Beach and where to ask for hiking trip. Clean room with separated bathroom and a lot of storage space
If you’re looking for cheap and simple this is the right place. I was able to walk across the street and walk down to the beach in about ten minutes. The manager was extremely nice.
I appreciated the options available for breakfast and the comfort of staying in a home rather than a hotel. The location was great, easy to find and entering the b&b was smooth.
This was a very nice hotel - all clean and with nice facilities - but the best part of the stay is that my room was facing west and overlooked the beach - so lovely sunset.
We reserved a room at The Gold Beach Inn. We were up in a dumpy cabin at the old hotel next door. I was a complete dive, and I have been double charged as if this writing.
Lots of room for the family as opposed to a hotel room. Location was one minute away from HWY 101 and only a couple minutes from a bunch of beach entrances.
