Horrible smoke smell in lobby area. Owner smoking where children come into building as well. It made my asthma flare up so bad I couldn’t stay the whole 2 days I paid for. I left after couple hours

If you're a Lucy fan this is the place to go! The Lucy/Desi museum was wonderful to visit. And to find out that Lucy is buried in Jamestown was a bonus! we were able to visit her gravesite which was touching for us.

Hotel location was great and within walking distance of all the downtown restaurants, Comedy Center and Lucy Museum. Hotel was recently updated and is marvelous. Staff is also very friendly and helpful. TP in bathroom was like sandpaper, which was not expected for the price of the room.

We loved the Lucy muesum and would have loved to go see the Comendy Muesum. The drives we took were nice and we even saw a Amish family riding a buggy and horse on the road!
I would avoid staying at the Colony Motel again. That place needs a whole makeover!!!!

We used to live in Sugar Grove and in Jamestown years ago. We used the hotel for the first time and we enjoyed it. We were able to get around Jamestown with a GPS as it has changed since the 90's. The hotel was beautiful and comfortable.

We traveled from Brooklyn NY. to see the Lucy Museum.. and visit a few wineries.
It is a long car ride. I would suggest doing this if you are stopping at Niagra Falls or other sites along the way. Jamestown has lovely people, but as for restaurants this is not the place. This is a once in a lifetime trip.!

You can tell these employees are treated right – they seem so happy and friendly! When I walked into the room, I just went whoa. This is so nice. The place has a great feel to all of it, from guest rooms to restaurant to front desk (Sara was awesome). Some other reviewers mentioned not feeling safe in the neighborhood and limited parking, but I’m sure glad I didn’t let that stop me! Found a parking place next to the hotel - made sure I got there early enough to find parking (late afternoon).
We were more than pleased with our accomodations! The price for this hotel was so low for the value we received.
Everything was spotless and the bed almost as comfortable as our bed at home! We will definitely book with Clarion again on our next trip. Plus being so close to the Bob Evans restaurant was a bonus!
Nice hotel with everything we appreciate - good room, comfy bed, good shower, good wifi. Best of all was the Bob Evans restaurant right across the parking lot! A great homestyle place with simple, tasty food. So happy to be able to walk to dinner and not have to get back in the car after a long drive.!
I enjoyed that the property was located in downtown Jamestown. most points of interest were in the walking distance and even if I had to drive it’s it was a very short drive. The staff was very friendly and helpful and accommodated anything I needed during my stay. All and all my stay was enjoyable
The breakfast was very good.
The hotel was nice and had a good room. The location was central
Didn't realise it had a pool. We arrived late so didn't use it. It looked like it had a film on it - probably cleaner, but didn't look nice.
The room was spacious and comfortable. I especially appreciated the table with two chairs. The property is next to a Bob Evans. We are retired and late risers, so we could not avail ourselves of the hotel breakfast.
It was a grand old home with a lot of charm. Great staff and a very nice breakfast. The location was central and easy to access all of Jamestown and the surrounding areas. Comfy bed.
Reception staff are exceptional. Rooms are clean and facilities are good. Food in the onsite restaurant is good.
Would definitely recommend this hotel when staying in Jamestown.
They have Wi-Fi available but they tell you that it’s really bad and it is sold that house to change nowadays or motel hotels should have good Internet
