We were in Lima to visit a college that is there.
We were in Lima to visit a college that is there. This was our second visit, the first one being four years ago. Lima has changed 100% for the better in the last four years!! It is growing and vibrant. Much of the city has been cleaned up and it gives the feeling of continuing in that direction. Good food options. Seemed to be an active arts community. The trail aroud the reservoir was lovely to walk. The city is very easy to drive around. Being from the Northeast, was not expecting many things to be closed on Sunday (and even Monday), but we worked around it.

The facility was close to the fairgrounds which was convenient since we went there for the Flat Track race. However, the area seems run down and not a safe place for my wife to walk alone. We noticed several businesses are shut down. We did eat at Cracker Barrel and Arby’s and both were excellent.

There were two other hotels that looked like they could have been equally nice or nicer but this one had amenities... Pool, arcade, air hockey, foosball table, ice cream machine. It was also next to several great restaurants cracker barrel, roadhouse and half a dozen others, walmart and starbucks were still within walking distance not more than a mile. We had 2 basic double queen rooms but they were perfect. We were there to do a campus visit for UNOH. If my son chooses to go there, I guarantee this is where we will stay when we visit. The staff was friendly and the beds were comfortable. The lobby was pleasant,comfortable and updated. It was conveniently located near a lot of restaurants and stores.
