Spacious Family Friendly Home Near Massanutten and National Park, hotel in McGaheysville

Boasting mountain views, Spacious Family Friendly Home Near Massanutten and National Park offers accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 1.2 km from Massanutten Resort Water Park.

This home is perfect for a family stay! The hot tub in the back yard and the jetted tub in the upstairs bathroom were luxurious and wonderful. All of the beds were clean and comfortable. The kids enjoyed the Foosball table and the spaciousness of the home (great for playing hide and seek). The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking meals and the washer and dryer were the perfect size as well. We would absolutely recommend and would love to return one day.

Hampton Inn Harrisonburg - University, hotel in McGaheysville

Feel welcomed with a choice of thoughtful extras at Hampton Inn Harrisonburg - University.

I’ve stayed in fancier hotels with amazing amenities,, but never had staff treat me so well than at this Hampton Inn. Ashley at the front desk was more than accommodating. My family and I booked a smaller room on a very busy weekend. We were there after most of the traffic cleared out, and Ashley upgraded us to a suite because she knew we had young kids and they could use more space. The breakfast was fresh and always hot. My kids said they wanted to stay forever because they loved it so much. We were treated like family from the moment we walked in the door. I know we will be back and I won’t even consider looking into any other options.

Look no further for those traveling with a family who could benefit from multiple rooms and restrooms, including an extra sizeable Jacuzzi-style tub. Nestled atop a quiet hill, the apartment comes fully furnished, though space for preparing food in the kitchen is limited. The kitchen doesn't have a stove, but it does have countertop appliances and hot plates. We did most of our cooking on the propane grill located on the patio. We drove to McGaheysville, shopped at the local Kroger and Martin's grocery store for groceries, and cooked. Using the included pool passes, we enjoyed the pool. Everything needed to keep the place clean and tidy was included. Bring your coffee, as the provided coffee is good for about one day. A free laundry room is located onsite immediately outside your unit's entrance. HVAC, internet, and cable TV all worked without issue. You'll find enough closet and drawer space to store your belongings comfortably. No housekeeping is included. You are responsible for cleaning the place, washing the sets of towels, and making your beds.

We ate at Romano Italian Restaurant and it was top notch The food was great, authentic and delicious. The service was impeccable, the young lady we had was friendly, responsive, attentive and overall nice. Book tickets for snowtubing as early as possible. Checkin was a little chaotic, should implement an online checkin - but they are trying to sell packages. Activities and resort was easily accessible. We stayed at The Summit and our accommodations was TOP NOTCH, beautiful views, spacious. The jacuzzi tub is a must see. Balcony with great views and the bed was comfy. We enjoyed The Summit and definitely will stay again.

Overtly surprised of the spacious townhome. Walked in the door and the view was amazing, 4 point buck staring at us as we entered. We loved the vaulted ceilings, sauna, large bedrooms and wide open floor plan. This trip made us want to purchase one of these amazing homes.

Love this area! The town is nice and quiet.

Love this area! The town is nice and quiet. Awesome scenery and wildlife. So many things to do. The only thing I did not like was the hours of the restaurants. They opened and closed very strange hours or not open on certain days. I thought with so many travelers, they would be open later. Most places were closed by 8 or 9pm.
