Breakfast was mediocre and overpriced (Almost 13 USD if bought separately, plus tax ). A rather bland and tired mix of scrambled eggs, some fried potatoes, sausages and bacon. A very limited choice of bread and toppings. Some cereals and youhurt. Staff was very slow to refill coffee. Only orange juice (likely from concentrate, given the slightly bitter taste) on offer as morning beverage.

Wow! The Guesthouse is such a lovely place to stay. The staff are friendly and helpful and the apartment we stayed in was spacious, comfortable and stylish. It had everything we could possibly need for our 4 day stay with a well equipped kitchen, lots of white fluffy towels, lovely bathroom products and super comfy beds. It is really easy to get downtown from the hotel - just hop on the 22 bus that stops outside or take a short walk to the nearest ‘El’ train station Argyle. We absolutely loved it and will definitely stay here again if we come back to Chicago.
