Good size room with a ‘lounge’ area and ‘kitchen’ area with a fridge, sink and microwave (no cutlery or crockery so couldn’t use the microwave for anything to eat). Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. Walking distance to a few shops and a sports bar.

The location was easy to get to. We drove to the Tarrytown train station and took the train to NYC. It was nice to return to a quiet, smaller town for a quiet night to sleep. Cute little town to explore the next day.

Tarrytown is near several large estate homes that are popular tourist destinations. It was also a good stopping point on our trip from Canada and Maine to Virginia. We visited Lyndhurst , a Gothic-style mansion that is owned by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

The town is quaint and lovely.
The town is quaint and lovely. Loved shopping from the independent sellers, and even having a chance to buy art and products from local artists and vendors. Everyone was super nice, and allowed us to feel comfortable and at home despite being from the city (sometimes us folks from NYC are a bit much, I get it!) We enjoyed a live performance of Jonathan Kruk in the Old Dutch Church in Sleepy Hollow. Excellent. We also toured the nearby Octagon House. This is one of the many unique experiences in the Tarrytown area. The food sucks!
The food sucks! Restaurants are closed Monday and Tuesdays and the ones that are open don’t open until about 1130 so just forget about breakfast. It looks better on IG not much to do there during Halloween weekend as they make it seem.CarlosUnited States - 8.0Scored 8.0

Visited over Halloween. Went to the Blaze one night, which was impressive and fun. Saw the Legend play the second night, also fun. Cute town, Patriot Park was interesting. Things are much further apart then maps give impression. The town itself is lovely. Lots of wonderful places to eat . People are very nice . If you visit the old cemetery drive around it and stop and walk around then drive around further . It is so large and hilly . Great town to spend time in .

After a long hectic weekend in New York City, the peacefulness of our room at this Sheraton was sooooo welcome! We enjoyed getting Starbucks for breakfast and buying a few groceries at the stores across the parking lot. We’ve stayed at several of the hotels in the Tarrytown/Elmsford area over the years and this one will be a top choice in the future depending on costs (the Booking.com deal was terrific.)

Popular location for weddings, but areas big enough to accommodate other guests. Very easy access from NYC on the Hudson Line. Hotel is half hour walk from town centre but both Uber and Lyft readily available within Tarrytown. Some parts of the spacious bedrooms are slightly dated, but very comfortable. Great outdoor pool area, a nice bar and a luxury spa right next door. Staff is very friendly.
