Homemade delicious breakfast served in a very clean dining room on time every day. Food allergies were taken into account. Homemade jams and jelly made with local ingredients were a bonus. The view is spectacular, and it was private and quiet.

Don the owner really cares about what he is providing to guests. He has high expectations for cleanliness and the cabins reflect that. They are well provisioned for guests and met my expectations. Don is very friendly, helpful and informative. The location is close to bus and train depot and there are several restaurants just next door or a bit up the road. A very short walk to K2 Aviation where we had a fantastic glacier landing experience. Although on the main road to town there was no problem with noise at night. Downtown is just a 5 min easy walk away. We were really happy with our decision to stay at Denali Fireside Cabins.

Great place- spacious, comfortable, with everything you might need. It was in the middle of our Alaska trip and a great spot to get some relaxation, much needed. Easy walk to the town or the train, but the owner was also super nice and offered to drive us to the train station. I would stay again without hesitation.

everything went beyond expectations! I told the owner that for me it is like a 5-star hotel in Guesthouse format! There is everything, very clean environment! the snacks are also excellent if you are a little hungry... a quiet environment perfect for those who want to prepare for the Denali expedition or for those looking for a comfortable environment! the owner is super helpful and always kind! Very good WiFi, very comfortable bed, kitchen available, nice shared bathroom always clean. there is also the possibility of washing and drying your clothes.

If you arrive into Anchorage later in the day, this is a convenient place to stop for the night between Anchorage and Denali, but isn't much of a destination of its own. Trapper Creek itself is mostly a junction of two roads without much else. You also don't get mountain views because of all the trees. I had to drive 20 miles up the road to have a view of Denali.

Everything about this property was amazing!
Everything about this property was amazing! Loved the view off the back deck. The hosts made us feel right at home and more than provided all we needed for a comfortable stay. Would highly recommend that those traveling to or from Denali or stopping off in talkeetna book this place. We were able to see Mt Denali off the back deck. So wonderful!
