Our host was very nice and we had a good contact all the time. Our children loved the place and being in the desert was quite special for us. We would have loved to stay longer.

The location and view were great. It is just a short drive away from 49 Palms trailhead and super close to grocery stores. Also, the desert surrounds the place. The landscaping has established cactus and is great!

I always love the desert so I always enjoy my trips to 29 Palms and Joshua Tree, especially at night time the desert looks amazing and the stars looks super bright and closed to earth. Great experience!

The rooms are run down, smelly and dirty at this Best Western Plus. We initially planned on staying 2 or 3 nights there but left after 1 night. Actually the same night we booked in I went down to the Fairfield hotel in 29 Palms and booked a room there for 3 nights as there hotel was clean and in great condition. Fairfield hotel had a warm pool too. It was disappointing to be at this Best Western Plus then have to move die to poor conditions.

The town was perfect for what we needed.
The town was perfect for what we needed. Hot meal and Starbucks! We stayed in a Yurt the night before...one word...amazing. Star gazing and just the experience was absolutely stunning. Highly recommend the Yurt camp at Twentynine Palms.

The house was virtually in the park.
The house was virtually in the park. I did not go into town for anything except a quick grocery run. I was there to enjoy hiking in the park and so this location was not to be beat! The views of town at night were like a Christmas display.

Nice little offshoot city in the desert, which has everything, Starbucks and such, but was still under COVID rules that were annoying.
Lots of art and a visit to the Visitor Center in the main street is a must.
Prices are normal and the Sattler Bros grocery store was a pleasant surprise.

Thoughtful and tasteful -- the house was beautifully done up, the furniture and facilities were fantastic, the host (Melissa) clearly put in a lot of thought into every detail.
Clean, comfortable and conveniently located -- only 5 minutes' drive from the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park; very close to the restaurants in 29 Palms.
Host par excellence -- Melissa was a fantastic host; she was super responsive to our every need.
It’s not a 5* hotel. It’s glamping. So every thing is basic. But the beds are the comfiest and cosiest we’ve had on our road trip. Erin is a delightful and helpful host and you can tell the thought, love and passion she has poured into building this special place. The yurts are delightful (and well equipped for camping). A lovely time was had bbq-ing and sitting around the camp fire watching the stars.
Wish I could have stayed longer!
Have stayed numerous times in the past when it was America's Best Value Inn with no change other than having to check in next door at the Oasis Inn. The rooms are clean and secure which is what I look for in any accommodations. I do miss when it was part of Red Lions hotels the rewards that I accrued, Having stayed at numerous motels in 29 Palms/Joshua Tree this location for the price point is the best deal and continues to be.
From the looks of it it looks like their housing the homeless people inside this hotel, even though I have a non-smoking room my room smell like cigarettes, not from the previous occupant but you can tell somebody lived there and the cigarette smoke is very noticeable, also half of the hotel looked like it was occupied by homeless people, the other half is for the People who have to stay or are there for Joshua tree
everything i loved it was much more then expected great location view and beautiful little cottage type buildings each one had its own unique color theme. inside the rooms was beautiful and you felt at home not ur standard hotel service like anywhere else. i didnt want to leave stayed an extra day just to unwind great managment & house keeping was amazing. i also loved the light up shower head lol
Exceptional accomodation, highly specifications and extremely roomy. And the location...stunning. you are in the desert with no near neighbours and beautiful views without sacrificing comfort or mod cons. We were only using this as a stop off for two nights to see Joshua Tree NP (entrance a two minute drive) but this would be a relaxing place to spend a week.
I really loved this experience. So much better than a hotel and just as comfortable! I definitely recommend it. The Yurt was very comfortable very nice bed and furnishings. Sitting out at night and stargazing in the quiet of the desert was wonderful. This was an excellent glamping experience. Erin was a very accomodating host.
I will definitely come again
We absolutely loved our two nights here. The starry nights, sunset drinks, bubbly jacuzzi times & spinning a few old vinyl classics on the record player over dinner made it an unforgettable stay. We would highly recommend basing yourself here for a trip to Joshua Tree National park or just to enjoy some jolly R&R time.
Charming spacious comfortable and clean rooms with a history. A unique property with rooms big enough to be a studio apartment, kitchen included. Pool and hot tub and mountain views were a bonus. Short drive to either TwentyNine Palms or Joshua Tree towns for food and amenities. Short drive to either NP entrance.
Cleanliness and interior was beautiful. Owner even provide complimentary mineral water and beer. We were rushing to the property thus have not stock up on that and really appreciated. A pity we did not make full use of the kitchen. Location was good for exploring Joshua Tree NP, not too far from the main road
Very quiet--no noise from neighbors or the road. Clean room. Staff were responsive to our needs: reassured us before arrival that a late-night check-in was no problem; provided a space heater, extra pillows, and a fridge upon request. Location is very convenient for a visit to Joshua Tree National Park.
Location was kind of unique - in the middle of the desert, far from other buildings. The house is furnished and decorated with good taste - feels very classy. Kitchen has all necessary supply to prepare breakfast or dinner. The place is close to Joshua tree park.
The room was clean and a good size. Comfortable bed. Close to shops, restaurants, and Joshua Tree Nationa Park. Cooled in the pool. Hot tub at night. Nice sitting out in morning having coffee and breakfast.
LOVED having a kitchen, spacious room, comfortable, the uniqueness of the place. Owner very welcoming as well as every staff member.
Very convenient to Joshua Tree NP. This hotel has character and soul.
