A very friendly welcome from the owners and a great place to stay right in the centre of town. Rooms were comfortable with all you could need and it was nice not to have the TV, it seemed more in keeping with the building

It was incredibly convenient to the gondola and various other amenities. It was also close to our family friend's unit. The person who helps with the property was fantastic, answering every call and text that was needed. She was great.

Wallace is an awesome little town that almost feels like a movie set opened to tourists. Its the center of the universe... that alone means ya gotta swing by. Its a great stop over. You can walk the town and poke your head in to all the shops in a hour our two so I think 1-2 nights max on the stay meeter. A great place if you going skiing on the boarder or traveling to or from Montana and need a layover.

You can walk the entire downtown core.
You can walk the entire downtown core. There’s a lot of history surrounding Wallace; we could have stayed longer to learn more. We ran out of time to walk the stairs throughout town.
Con: We’ve never seen so many dogs walking the streets, in the shops, and even on the counter of a bar!

I enjoyed the small, quaint, historic town, nestled in among the trees and mountains. My family loved the silver mining tour, shopping, eating dinner at The Fainting Goat, breakfast at the Brooks Hotel, and the close proximity to The Route of the Hiawatha Trail. This friendly little town is easy to walk around. We had a great time in Wallace!

Wallace is a lot of fun.
Wallace is a lot of fun. There was not any of the famous special events happening. I visited primarily to take advantage of all the GREAT ATV roads around. I went in the spring to do some mushroom hunting. Found morels and slippery jack bolets. Did some fishing. Enjoyed lunch at city limits. Hung out at the metals bar and enjoyed some local musicians and drinks.
Wallace is so much fun. I will stay again.

The reason why no Wi-Fi (internet) was critical for me, since there was no WI-FI and no cell phone service, at the hotel or area, it was impossible to coordinate with the group of us that was planning on doing a bike ride. I could not even communicate with family to tell them that I made it to my destination safely or at all. I was completely cut off from everyone I needed to be in contact with,
Based on the above, we will not visit Wallace again, especially the Wallace INN.

Loved the history and activities . Great little shops too.
Loved the history and activities . Great little shops too. Can see kids and adults enjoying this trip. Everyone that I met there was really genuine and I appreciate that. Not all fake like in a large city. Great getaway.
The place is very well taken care of and very clean. I felt like there was thought and care put into even little things, like the coffee setup in the morning. The customer service was also pretty fantastic. We were greeted by a woman with a smile on her face and she was great with the kids. She also went out of her way to send the clothes back that our daughters SWORE they didn’t leave there.
When we come back to Wallace, we will be staying at the Ryan.
The woman who checked us in was phenomenal. She thoroughly explained a map of the city to us, gave us tips on best places to eat and where to go for sight-seeing.
Although the hotel is older, the room was exceptionally clean. The bedding was high quality and the pillows were comfortable. The shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion was of a spa quality.
We enjoyed sitting on the chairs on the grass in front of our door.
I love the “retro” look and feel while still having the
modern amenities that I expect. The owner went out of her way to have our room ready early as well as provide secure storage for bicycles.
You can easily walk to all the restaurants from the hotel.
Lots of personality and very much in keeping with the traditional western silver mining town experience of Wallace. Not a fancy place but clean and the management is extremely friendly and kind. The sort of place you want to return to for a few days.
Our room was SO NICE!! Very clean, spacious, great interior. The hotel staff were very lovely and helpful. The location is great right in the middle of town and walkable to everything. I would definitely stay here again.
The bed sheets were the whitest sheets we have ever seen, so crisp and cool. The hotel is in the town centre so everything is on hand and walkable distance. This hotel has history which you can feel, brilliant!!
Quaint old hotel, right in the middle of town. Just loved it all. I would recommend the Mine Tour to everyone coming to Wallace. The City Limits Pub is also great for dinner.
We had a very comfortable apartment, beautifully renovated. Pleasant reception. Breakfast was not included, but the hotel on site restaurant served us each an excellent meal.
The positives are everyone who worked there was incredibly kind. Good price great location and yes, mostly clean. Amazing little town I’d recommend anyone go to a Wallace.
Loved this historic hotel and its quiet location in a mountain town that forced the freeway to bypass it. You can walk to restaurants and many of the local sights.
personal attention when I left my special pillow there. I phoned from Idaho and the manager found it and sent me an important text as to where it was stored.
I didn’t know there was breakfast at this motel. I loved Wallace. It was so beautiful and quaint. The manager at this motel was wonderful and so pleasant! 😊
