Williamstown and North Adams are different towns and both have a great deal to offer. Easy access between each town, and to multiple hiking trails, as well as superb museums, makes the two towns an extremely attractive visit.

Nice little town. Friendly businesses and residents.
Nice little town. Friendly businesses and residents. Owner recommended Waterstreet Grill after we told her what type of food we were looking for when we arrived. She showed us how to get there. The restaurant staff were friendly and food was great there too.

Lovely New England college town.
Lovely New England college town. Outstanding museum (Clark Art Institute), the reason for our visit. Very limited fine dining options on a Monday night; ate at Pera and highly recommend it! Very limited reasonably priced hotel/motel/B&B options.

We love Williamstown.
We love Williamstown. We have a long history of attending Williams and having family live in town. Our granddaughter now attends Williams so we go down from Burlington, Vermont every chance we get (which was not much during 2020 - Pandemic Year!). It is always a joyful place to be, especially Spring Street and The Tunnel!
We love this place! Excellent Organic Breakfast The location is excellent, right in Williamstown, next to the legendary Williams College campus, within walking distance to shops Next Door restaurants
the Clark Art Institute. An hour’s drive to beautiful Manchester, Vermont. Very reasonably priced, super-clean room. Ours had a coffeemaker, microwave, fridge, New Mattress Quiet area.
We stayed busy time hotel was full , but there’s a big pool and spacious grounds on the property.
Highly recommended!
The family that has run the motel for many years is wonderful -- friendly, helpful and very kind! Rooms are unexpectedly quite large, AC chillingly effective, everything is well-cleaned and simply works. Location simply can't be beat if you're coming for the College -- it is directly across the street. Don't expect a luxury hotel, but if you're OK or better with typical American motel architecture, this is a fantastic value for the money!
The owners were so nice, the room with spacious and the bathroom was super clean. They have a spacious backyard for the kids to play overlooking a beautiful horse farm, beautiful Adirondack chairs to sit in and watch the kids play and look at the horse farm, really unique trees...it was great that the kids could play outside and we weren't stuck inside! Also it was around the corner from linear Park which was really cool.
Booked 2 rooms, Barnside is the Victorian suite side. Also stayed in the Brookside with our 2 young kids and Yorkie. Suite has no pets and my wife and teenagers loved the big tub. Because of covid they are more hands off and so the breakfast they give is all prepackaged snacks and apples. We didn't try the pub onsite. Overall it was a great value and we had an amazing weekend at Jiminy peak nearby and Williamstown.
The room was comfy, the beds were comfy and fluffy, the wifi worked well, there was microwave, coffee machine, hot shower, easy parking available, breakfast was simple but delicious; Many orange juice, milk, cereals with raisin, muffins, unlimited-coffee for the whole day, and nice and pleasant staff. Location was the best too! Peaceful surroundings and near Bennington VT and Williamstown MA. Will highly recommend!
Not a darn thing. The place was so filthy and neglected that we left for another hotel. They refused to refund for the nights we did not stay. No TV, no pool, no breakfast completely deceptive advertising of property. The sheets were so gross I had to sleep in a sleeping bag. Towels so thread bare they ripped in two when toweling off. Avoid!
The room was well-appointed and the beds were comfortable. The surfaces and the bathroom were very clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We appreciated the quiet location and liked the stream next to the property. We enjoyed our visit to the Clark Art Institute very much, which is why we chose to come to Williamstown.
We went to see the William College. The hotel is very close the school. Super convenient. People work in the hotel are super nice. Very helpful. They waited for us late at night. I forget my dress in the hotel, and they sent it back to me. That was very nice of them! I would definitely stay there next time I go to Williamstown.
Room was cute, bed comfortable, nice breakfast and breakfast area, 15 minutes from Jiminy Peak, 15 minutes from Williamstown. River behind property , the water running makes for a nice sound. I am airline Pilot I travel often and stayed in many hotels and motels most are average. However I have to rank this above all .Not only is it very clean ,newly updated and flawless, the owners were very kind and professional. Thanks to the housekeepers that do a fantastic job. Vinni Bha Ji Great
We stayed in this hotel many times. It's our favorite in terms of price, location and comfort. Staff is always nice: this time they let us check in early. The room was very clean with a fridge and a microwave. Coffee machine was stocked. Bed was very comfortable.
* Location is very good, just 30 mins to the Berkshire mountain resort
* There is a bar walking distance from the hotel
* Parking right in front of your suit
* There is a small fridge in the room
* Pet friendly (we stayed with our dog)
Loved the location near the town center, walking distance to most places we wanted to go, the welcoming lobby, the comfortable rooms, the helpful staff, especially Matt (I think that us his name) who helped locate an item I left behind.
The motel's room are very clean and located slightly off the road, so it is not terribly noisy. I liked the fact that it is pet-friendly (like many places in Williamstown). The motel's staff is very cordial and helpful.
The Williamstown Motel was booked at the last minute while we were out Leaf Peeping. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location was perfect for when we wanted to stop for the night.
A welcoming, clean, hospitable hotel, everyone I interacted with was very kind. Room was very clean and well-stocked. Bed was very clean and comfortable. Would absolutely book again.
