The little details like the fresh flowers in the room, the welcome present, the chocolates, biscuits, tea and coffee in the room (even fresh milk!!) really make a difference and makes this place extra special. The breakfast is very good and plentiful with a lot of different things to choose from. The surroundings are beautiful and we loved the fact that there was birdfood outside of our window so we were able to enjoy watching the birds eat. Ray and Anne really went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible, which we are very grateful for. We 100% recommend this place!

Guests at Brookside Cottage will be able to enjoy activities in and around Okehampton, like hiking. This place is great. It is located in a small rustic village and the atmosphere is amazing. The apartment is in an old cottage with beautiful garden (right next to Finch Foundry). The room is a good size and the beds are comfortable. We also had our own kitchenette with microwave and fridge. Pete was a very nice host and cooked a great breakfast of our choice. He also recommended places to visit nearby. Our daughter enjoyed playing with the dog and feeding the chickens.
