I stayed here with my husband and my mother between December 21st and 28th and had an amazing time. The apartment is huge, kitchen is very well equipped with everything you may need. The living room is great with large smart tv. There are 3 rooms and the beds are very comfortable. One room has adjacent bathroom and there is also another bathroom that is entered from the living room. There were enough towels, soap, toilet paper and the owner sent us a message after a couple of days asking if we needed any more. The location was perfect, it took us only 5 minutes by car to CR7 parking garage in the city center. There is also a big supermarket and a takeaway restaurant just 2 minutes away by car. There are several parking spaces next to the house. The first night none were available so we parked across the street, but every other night at least one spot was available. The apartment is also very quiet. You can hear cars from the street, but there isn't that much traffic. They also have such a lovely dog. He is behind a fence so no worries if you are scared of dogs. He would never bark but would always come to greet us waving his tail when we would arrive back to the apartment which really made our day. The owner was very kind and polite. He does not speak English, but using Booking's translate option our communication worked great. I can't recommend this place enough. If we come back, we will certainly stay here again.

East to get place, you need to park outside on the road, as locals do. rooms and bathrooms super clean and astonishing amazing view. we had some barbecue with fish and while we had dinner neighbors played music, so it was just amazing vibe.

The nearest airport is Cristiano Ronaldo Madeira International Airport, 20 km from Granny's house view. Decent location (although 15 minutes from the centre; good for hikes), quite large place with a nice view.

A good location for a stress-free holiday in Fajã da Ovelha, Quinta São Lourenço is a holiday home surrounded by views of the garden. The property features pool with a view, garden and parking on-site among other facilities. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. All rooms include a terrace with sea views and free WiFi. Best view ever, did not want to leave

The property is situated 19 km from Santana's traditional houses, 23 km from Marina do Funchal and 33 km from Girao Cape. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Sao Roque Beach is 500 metres away. Very nice, quiet local place away from the road. Owner welcomed us with fruit, cookies and wine. Had a terrific stay, wish we stayed longer.
