The hotel is a historic building with great character. The bedroom was comfortable and well equipped. The bathroom was very clean with a good shower, plenty of instant hot water and well designed.

It was an easy walk from the train station and very centrally located for seeing the sights of the city. The breakfast was delicious and our hostess Karin happily accommodated our gluten free dietary needs. She went above and beyond to give us what we needed for a comfortable stay. We were able to leave our bags at the property as we arrived early. Check in and check out procedures were easy.

This was such a beautiful stay. The hotel has just opened after a fantastic renovation which has done a great job of retaining the old but combining and adding a modern contemporary edge. We were meet on entering the hotel by the lovely staff. The check in process is not your normal counter experience but a comfy sit in the lounge area instantly making you feel at home and at ease. Helpful and lovely throughout our stay. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The breakfast was fantastic - not your normal buffet but individual serves beautifully presented. Great location to walk and see the sites of Lubeck and close to a great variety of restaurants. We were the first Australians to stay at the hotel and would have no hesitation in recommending it to other Australians and travellers.
