This elegant 19th-century town house is about 500 metres from Royal Albert Hall and Hyde Park. It features a small gym, spacious bedrooms, and a bar with patio for snacks and tapas. Excellent stay, I was upgraded to another room free of charge.

A 10-minute walk from Royal Albert Hall, this 5-star Kensington hotel has spectacular London views, a 3 AA Rosette Chinese restaurant and a 24-hour health club. Garden view room was lovely, great staff and really good food in the ground floor restaurant.

Fully refurbished in May 2018, the Oliver Plaza Hotel is in a cosmopolitan area of Earl's Court and offers good-value rooms close to Kensington and Knightsbridge. Very clean rooms a bit small but normal for London.
