The hotel is ideally located between the buzz of Galway city and the relaxed seaside resort of Salthill. No breakfast included. Very clean. Staff sent me chocolates and birthday card because it was my birthday. Location is great for Galway Bay restaurants and shops. A bit too far away from Galway City if that is your destination, although parking in Galway City is impossible.

The award-winning, 4-star Galway Bay Hotel overlooks Galway Bay and is situated on Galway’s Blue Flag beach. Beautiful facility right on the strand . Ocean front rooms were outstanding( thank you Grace) Food was excellent

Situated in the heart of Salthill, Holiday Hotel is close to the waterfront of Galway bay, and just 20 minutes’ walk from Galway centre. Reminded me of the famous song " Hotel california" beach vibes 60's feel and a solid " Guinness" on tap in the same building. Definitely be back. Sound staff

The friendly, warm and affordable Wards Hotel and Pub is located in the Lower Salthill area of Galway City. A 10-minute stroll will bring you to the city centre. They were extremely kind and helpful. We had a quiet, comfortable stay and the food was delicious. We will definitely stay again next visit.

The Wave is a family-run townhouse B&B offering 4 guest bedrooms situated in a residential area where Salthill meets Galway City centre. The Wave features free private parking on site and free Wi-Fi. Caroline the host could not have done enough for us. Highly recommended, 5 star

Set in a period house, right opposite the bus stop to Galway city centre and 400 metres from the beach, St Judes B&B sits in a landscaped garden. We loved our stay at St. Jude's B&B. It's a great location and not too far away from Galway. Our hosts were accommodating and loved that breakfast was made to order. It was quiet and comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer!
