Carnival Palace is a brand-new hotel offering ultra-modern rooms with wood floors and free Wi-Fi. Set in Venice's Jewish Ghetto area, it is 10 metres from the Tre Archi Vaporetto water bus stop. Everything was perfect! Very beautiful and comfortable place.

You're in a quiet street but just a minute away from restaurants/bakeries/shops. 2. Everything was clean, new, comfortable and warm. 3. The staff went beyond, nothing but high praises. The walk to San Marco's square took us about 30 minutes but you're passing so many amazing places, churches, historical monuments, and shops so it's worth the walk. On your way back you can also take a boat and it will take you very close to the hotel. Very well connected, ideal if you're trying to get away from the crowd but still be close to everything.

Featuring 1-star accommodation, Hotel al Sotoportego is located in Venice, 300 metres from Rialto Bridge and 800 metres from Basilica San Marco. The property was in a great location on one of the canals. We were upgraded for free to a very large canal view room. Our host was fantastic and gave us tons of information on places to see, restaurants and things to do. We felt very welcomed.

The property was very clean, quiet, and the decor was very very Venetian! We absolutely loved our room and we felt like Royalty. Location was very good because it was far enough away from the tourists and in a part of the city that has charm and is not as over priced as the busier parts of town. It is also very walkable to everything, including Piazzale Roma if you’re traveling without too much luggage. The staff was very pleasant and very helpful! I felt like they went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay and we certainly did!

Set in a former Doge’s 16th-century residence, Hotel Palazzo Abadessa overlooks the Santa Sofia Canal in Cannaregio, It offers a peaceful garden and rooms with Venetian views and antique furnishings. The photos are very accurate for this hotel. Stunning old historical rooms with modern bathrooms (nice hot shower!). The staff were friendly and attentive, and the 24 hour front desk was always staffed. The breakfast included was above and beyond the typical 'continental breakfast' it was delicious.
