The location was beautiful in front of the lake. The boat was free to use and good fun. Plenty of board games, an old school pac man game, alpacas and wallabies! So much stuff to do. The cabin was beautiful and quirky with kitsch decor. Here were tea and coffee facilities and a wood burner. The bed was really comfy too! We felt so relaxed and peaceful and Wendy added some nice personal touches around the place such as a welcome plaque with our names on and hand written messages in the kitchen. Would highly recommend staying here. We will be back!

The host went above & beyond to make our stay special this was a hidden gem so relaxing & had everything you needed to make our stay just perfect I will definitely stay again & would highly recommend anyone to go visit & stay the host even fed the cockreal so that I could take his picture! First time glamping & definitely not my last 😁

This was a beautiful getaway for our wedding anniversary. Really peaceful and relaxing. We loved how it was a single pod and not a site that was overcrowded. The owner has really put effort into making this comfortable even down to the milk and tea bags which was much appreciated ☺️

From start to finish this holiday was great, the owners were really helpful before we arrived, they were there to meet us, lovely peaceful tranquil break. The beds were so warm during the night and it was great to have your own washing and toilet facilities. It was my birthday, the tent had been decorated and a bottle of champagne arranged by my partner with the site was waiting. Lovely and clean with everything you need.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Suffolk shepherd hut. The location is outstanding situated just outside of York within a short drive to the shuttle bus service into York city centre. The hut itself is very well equipped essentially everything you could possibly need for a long weekend utensils for preparing meals etc.. The overall feel of the place is amazing. The BBQ outside which doubles up as a fire pit which we used along with the log burner are also nice additions! We also enjoyed the alpacas which were nearby in their field. The owner allowed us to go over with her to feed them. To close we really enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to rebooking in the not too distant future.
