The jeep driver who provides excellent service is the best guide. The sound of the river is like a bavana throughout the night. Love it.

Athgira River Camping offers a great outdoor dining experience as well as a barbecue dinner and cooking demonstrations. Real wild cocktails and a nice wine selection are available as well. The athgira was a beautiful centre to go from out safari from. The staff were so extraordinar y kind and attentive. We had got engaged 2 days before and they had arranged a suprise afternoon tea gardens followed by an exclusive rose petal and candle filled engagement dinner. We love how much of a team they are and got to know them all. Special thanks to chalani, kithamini, Chanuka, kansaka and hinusha. Couldn't recommend more

- Pre-dinner drinks around the campfire and wine during dinner The manager of the camp was extremely kind and available to chat, to show us around. The tent are perfect: very big and with all the services you might want. The food was very good. We had the best experience. Couldn’t ask for anything different!
