Conveniently set in the Old Town district of Regensburg, Hostel am Ostentor is located 600 metres from Regensburg Cathedral and the Stony Bridge. It offers free WiFi and free use of a communal kitchen and shared lounge. I really liked the kitchen area, as I cook often, so it was important for me. And the kitchen had everything you might need, all the plates, utensils, cups, coffee maker, even a toaster, a microwave and a fridge, and much much more. I liked that there were a few showers and toilets, so there was no queue, and I never had to wait to use them. I liked the lounge zone, I worked there, or you can just sit there and relax while reading magazines. The location is in the city centre, right in the old town, it's like 5 minutes till the river and the bridge. There are a few stores nearby. Everything was clean, toilets always had enough toilet paper and soap. Showers had soap as well. I definitely recommend this hostel. I stayed for 4 nights and felt at home. Thank you!

You can store your luggage in a locked room if you arrive earlier/depart late & the staff is super friendly. Location is great too - right next to the train station. Can 100% recommend & will definitely stay there again! :)

The hostel is only 400 metres from Nuremberg's most famous Christmas market with the famous Frauenkirche Church. Very well maintained hostel with great location and excellent on site catering and bar. We really enjoyed staying there and would recommend this to other travelers looking for economic option to stay in Nuremberg.
