Biltmore Estate
Vanderbilt’s French Renaissance-style estate contains 35 bedrooms, 43 bathrooms and 65 fireplaces – so you can expect a long and fascinating tour. Biltmore is considered America’s largest private home, and the wealth of detail in each ornate room is truly astounding. The surrounding 8,000 acres of gardens were designed by the same architect responsible for Central Park, and make for a lovely walk.

Well worth the ticket price. First time visitor .
Well worth the ticket price. First time visitor . Even though I have not done so myself ( Yet), I believe that an Annual Pass is probably worth the extra price, especially if one is within a few hours driving distance of Asheville. I would imagine the seasonal blooms would make each trip different. Be prepared for crowds though, especially in this era of social distancing. Dont think there is ever an off season there !

Biltmore estate is outrageously priced.
Biltmore estate is outrageously priced. Lodging is sky high. If you're going, buy the house tour ticket that comes with access to the grounds. We've been on the house tour several times so on this trip we just wanted to visit the winery and surrounding shops. They wanted to charge us $50.00 per person just to have access to the grounds.

There are more attractions spread out into seperate areas on the Estate. Be prepaired to do some walking. Not too handicap friendly. Long distances from Handicap parking lots with uphill grades hard on those pushing wheel chairs. There are closer drop off points for those who are passengers. It was raining the day we had passes so didn't enjoy the visit. Had it been a good day my coments may have been better. The inside of the mansion was as beautiful as I had remembered it.

This is a really great place to visit but quite expensive.
This is a really great place to visit but quite expensive. We visited during the pandemic, and unfortunately many attractions that were supposed to be included closed down early with no notice. It was very disappointing because we had planned to spend more time there. It is a beautiful place. I think I would like to go back one day and get the whole experience.

It is an amazing property.
It is an amazing property. We did the Legacy of the Land tour and I did the Rooftop tour as well as the house tour. We also ate at the Stable Restaurant for lunch. A little pricey, but fun to do if you want the ambiance.

The location was perfect for touring the Biltmore Estate.
Easy parking.
Had a lovely room, with plenty of space.
Good shower and towels.
Very comfortable bed with crisp linens.
We loved the place. It's well situated, well maintained, and the staff is nice and friendly. We were on streak of 4 hotels in 4 nights, so this one was the best, among other things in terms of breakfast quality. Room was clean. The town itself definitely worth visiting, as well as Biltmore estate.
The bed & sheets were excellent: soft and comfortable. Making cinnamon waffles was fun and delicious. Orange juice, coffee, scrambled eggs, bagel, sausage, muffins were all good choices. Staff had never been to Biltmore Estate, which was not that far, but helped us get online tickets with a small discount. Maps available in lobby were a big help. The long roof over the entrance was appreciated because it rained the morning we left, and my friend could drive the car up to keep luggage (and me) dry.
Very clean and good value. Very short drive to Biltmore Estate. It was an overnight stop having landed at Charlotte Airport at 4:00pm and the perfect location to access our visit to Biltmore Estate at 10:00 the next morning before driving on to Memphis.
Breakfast was average. Server was professional and provided great customer service. Location is ideal for those visiting Biltmore Estate and downtown Asheville. T.G.I.F Fridays restaurant attached to hotel was subpar. Took quite awhile to get meal and when arrived cooked broccoli was raw, lettuce in salad was brown. Server was apologetic for taking so long to bring our meal.
Excellent breakfast -- coffee, tea, eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, fresh apples and oranges, yogurt, waffles, toast, bagels, muffins.
Our room from 5th floor looked out at changing fall colors.
Ample parking and near Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove and the Biltmore Estate.
