The property is tucked into the forest on the edge of the Corcovado national park. After a 16km drive up an extremely bumpy road Finca Sueño de Osa opens up into a rolling hill with rustic cabins leading down to the main lodge. It is predominantly “off the grid” and a must visit for bird watchers and anyone interested in the natural environment. There is an abundance of trails on the property that can be both challenging and rewarding from both a wildlife and hiking point of view. Our cabin was very rustic and comfortable. We stayed for 4 days and spent a lot of time in the late afternoon sitting on the front porch watching birds and listening to the sounds of the forest. Our experience was richer due to our hosts, Filip, Nielsy and Greivin. Filip’s knowledge of his property and the wildlife in it is incredible. His attention to meal planning and the effort he and Nielsy put into the meals was impressive. Greivin became a good friend and our guide on many of the trails. We started of as hikers and ended up with a huge appreciation of, and the begins of, avid birdwatchers. There are no words to describe how this experience enriched us and our affection for Filip, Nielsy and Greivin!

The Jaguars Jungle Rainforest Lodge - All meals included features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in San Pedrillo. One word: paradise! Never been to such a great place before! It was such a warm welcome from the hosts Sofia, Ben and Monica. They took such great care of everything and always with a happy smile. also the food was mucha deliciosa! Yordany the chef created the best (vegan) food I have ever had during my journeys, you can even taste the love! We also learned some Bachata moves from Eddy the bartender and caretaker. He spreaded the best vibes and created unforgetable evenings. The tours were amazing! Yaznir and Diego are the best guides you could wish for. They know everything about nature, animals and jungle life and do it with such a great passion and a lot of humour. I will miss these two a lot. And also the owner taught us some wake boarding on the sea for fun - this guy has some skills! Everything was cleaned daily and there is not a thing to complaine about. It was my best vacation ever and I will definitely come back soon!

Hotel Hoja de Oro Corcovado features accommodation in Puerto Jiménez. The property is non-smoking and is situated 2.5 km from Tigre Beach. Lovely family run hotel. They have been wonderful in taking care of everything for us to enjoy our trip to Corcovado. Breakfast, secure parking, secure luggage store. Wonderful stay at Hoja de Oro PJ. Highly recommended

Cabinas Jimenez offers an outdoor pool and is located right by the beach of the beautiful Gulfo Dulce. beautiful view and great location walking distance to town and many restaurants. friendly and helpful staff, our room was basic but comfortable and great value. we enjoyed using the pool and kayaks

Super nice host, great and quiet area. There is plenty of fauna around to watch, and they even rent kayaks. The on-site restaurant also helps if you are looking for a great refreshing fruit drink, or are looking for some great seafood! The beds are super comfy

Facing the beachfront, Ocean Forest Ecolodge offers 3-star accommodation in San Pedrillo and features a garden, shared lounge and terrace. Truly paradise. We arrived and immediately experienced watching baby turtles enter the sea. It was not too difficult to get there (though it takes some effort); we were there with 69 and 72 year-old parents and they did fine! We had the garden cabin from which we could watch monkeys and toucans eating in a tree while laying in our hammocks. The yoga building is beautiful and there are lots of nice nooks to lay and read. We also got to use the surfboards one afternoon. Plenty of places to hike and things to do. The staff was very warm and helpful. Great vibes.

Situated in Puerto Jiménez, 700 metres from Playa Isidora, Kunken Boutique Hotel & Spa features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. 1) most amazingly well maintained grounds paired with the perfect view and a tranquil setting. loved it & would stay again. 2) loved the open air setting of the sea facing bungalows and the outdoor shower (its all netted against insects instead of windows) 3) great for chilling, yoga, nature, outdoors, beach holiday, water sports 4) staff are very friendly and willing to help. they organized a lot of trips for us, gave us tips and ensured we had all information needed. big plus +++++

Offering an outdoor pool, beautiful gardens and a bar-restaurant, LagunaVista Villas is located 200 metres from the beach by boat or kayak across the lagoon. We loved the location. The grounds, buildings, owners, & staff were wonderful.
