Recently restored boutique hotel from 1929, located on the beachfront in Bakio. Exquisite architecture with attention to detail and welcoming atmosphere. Gorgeus hotel, cozy and quiet. Hotel is built in a classic basque home, wooden floors and ceilings. Location couldn't be better, right in front of the beach. If you can book a room with sea view, go for it!

We’ve never stayed before in any similar property and we loved the experience. They have only couple of rooms inside of the Bird center and museum. The view from the dining room was super relaxing and quiet. You also get a free museum ticket.

Lurdeia was so beautiful and lovingly cared for, from the hotel itself and it’s rooms, to the well tended grounds, and the delicious breakfasts artistically served and most of all the kindness of our hosts. We felt well cared.

This glamorous hotel is situated on Getxo’s elegant Paseo Zugazarte. Rooms have a flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi and décor inspired by the 1920s. All overlook the sea or hotel garden. The room had the best see view I could imagine for this trip. The room was very spacious and very well designed. Everything was very clean and staff was very friendly with a lot of can do attitude

Very convenient for travelers: bus to Bilbao right in front of the hotel; hotel has its own restaurant + local cafes cross the road, supermarket next door Our room is not big but functional & spotless, bed is very comfortable, bath towels are of high quality. Luruna Palacio has its own secured car park which is not always the case in Spain. Above all, the staff of this hotel are exceptional. Our big thanks to the lovely Itsasu. She’s often above and beyond her duty helping her guests, she’s a real asset to the hotel. Itsasu made our stay extra special. Big kisses & hugs from Australia :)
