L'écu de Bretagne is situated in the quiet medieval village of Beaugency. It features an outdoor, heated swimming pool, and WiFi is free of charge in the entire property. The 'superior' room was a positive surprise. Very nice, clean and with a lot of space. Very nice bathroom! The hotel is located in the center of Beaugency so that it was very easy to visit the medieval small city. The hotel offers a (secured) parking facility inside the walls of the hotel. The breakfast was very good. Knowing now the distances to the various castles, I would have stayed a few days longer than for one night, and would have used the hotel as base for visiting several castles. If I would come back to that region, I would for sure return to that hotel.

The location is great-very central and a brief stroll to Place du Martroi, Maison de Jeanne d'Arc, and many cafes and shops. The staff was friendly and incredibly helpful in offering ideas for places to see as well as places to eat. Parking was a very reasonable price for both location and security. Would highly recommend!

Escale Oceania Orléans sits along the banks of the River Loire, close to the city centre. It offers modern en suite rooms with a shower, a TV, and a 24-hour front desk. We were here for one night only. Great location and walking distance to sites and restaurants. Beds were very comfortable and appreciated the AC as it has been warm the last few days. Much appreciated that the front desk spoke English and very accommodating with a map pointing out sites and areas to eat. We needed a bucket of ice and had that for us right away. Would stay again. Very pleased!

The hotel is located in a cute small town. The architecture is fabulous, it was such a great chance that we were able to stay at an old monastery. They keep the very old paintings from former centuries, when you walk through the corridors you feel the presence of history. Our room was decorated in a traditional way, with the antique furnitures. Even though it was minus degrees outside, the room was heated very well. You can have breakfast at the hotel with the beautiful river view and the variety is very nice, you can find everything you need. It is such a great pleasure to taste the local wines next to the fireplace in the evenings at the bar. The staff was very helpful, friendly and kind. Mr. Alexis explained us the history of the building and it was very interesting to listen. We would like to thank Mr.Alexis and other crew members for their hospitality. Looking forward to come again.
