The Chateau De Lalande is a traditional hotel in elegant surroundings, 12 km from Périgueux. It offers an outdoor pool, free Wi-Fi and large, peaceful grounds. Lovely welcome by the owner. Beautiful chateau, very nice rooms (air-conditioned) wonderfull decorated, superb bed. One can dine outside (reservation needed) in romantic setting with great food, wine and champagne.

Boasting a terrace and located by a forest, Kyriad Périgueux BOULAZAC is situated in Saint-Laurent-sur-Manoire. This hotel exceeded my expectations. I spent a two nights in a 244 euros a night hotel in Bordeaux earlier this month and this Kyriad was a better experience room wise - and parking was free as opposed to an additional 60 euros. I did not eat in the restaurant but it looked comfortable and the menu was appealing. I did not have breakfast but will next time as they serve a full English breakfast.

The location was perfect. Near the motorway. It is the perfect place to stop when travelling by car. It has a green space to walk the dog. The room was spacious and the car can be parked in front of the room. The manager was absolutely fantastic, really kind. A good breakfast for less than 6€ each (it had fresh pastries, good coffee, juice…) We arrived outside the check-in hours and our keys were left in safety box.

The Mercure Perigueux is a new hotel offering free Wi-Fi, friendly staff and modern accommodation in the heart of the city, near the medieval ruins and numerous shops and restaurants. We liked the fact that the hotel was very centric and had a parking although it was no possible to reserve a parking space in advance and we had the car loaded. We were lucky to have space. We liked the room very much, very big, we chose the highest level.

It’s in a perfect location on a quiet road a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Saint Astier. The rooms have a wonderful view over the river and breakfast is taken on the terrace beside the river. Very calm and peaceful place to stat fora few days. Highly recommended.
