Just 150 metres from the nearest beach, the family-run Hotel Ion, in Kamena Vourla Town, features a garden . It offers air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi. Location is little different than it says on booking, 100m closer to the sea. Owner immediately came to guide us himself to the hotel when we called him. Everybody in the hotel was very kind, although we had some problems with communication. We had beautiful view from the balcony and rooms were very clean.

My husband and I arrived late in the evening as we were on our way to Meteora after landing in Athens. The owner was friendly and accommodating, allowing us to arrive after standard check-in hours. He also pointed us towards a local seafood restaurant (Kavos) which was excellent. The room had everything we needed - comfortable bed, clean shower, refrigerator, and clean room. They gave us complimentary coffee in the morning. We really enjoyed our stay!
