Room is modern, clean, comfortable and spacious. Bigger room has private bathroom, while others need to use the shared bathroom, they are clean and tidy though. Breakfast is good and plenty, as this is one of the only choice if you are hiking vatnajökull glacier (less than 5minutes drive away from the meetup point), do eat up as you will need the energy, and this place provides plenty of food during breakfast. Receptionist is very understanding, suggested us places to have dinners around the hotel, as this is quite a remote place.

Standard guesthouse close to Jokulsarlon and the Vatnajokull glacier. The owner stays in the house. We spent one night there, had a good time but nothing special. Decent value-for-money (most hotels in the area were either fully booked or crazy expensive when we were there). We liked the breakfast.

Great Hotel as base to do the different activities and visits around Vatnajökull Glacier, actually is almost the only one in the area. The breakfast was great and generous. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

Good facilities with very new kitchen utensils. Location is also very close to many restaurants. Room is comfortable and clean. Not too crowded in the house.

Great staff and breakfast amaizing, comfy beds. Excelent if you travel south. It has a lot of rooms our group was for 16 people and we all get our rooms together.

The guesthouse is situated in a fantastic location- 30 minutes away from the glacier lagoon, surrounded by beautiful mountains. It was also close to Höfn, where we had a nice dinner. The rooms were fine, not modern, but I think this was even better contributing to the cozy atmosphere. The breakfast was also nice, perfect for a start of long day on the road. Most important what we loved about the guesthouse was how nice everyone was! We were caught up in a snowstorm and couldn’t make it for our first night. They were so understanding! We even got a partial refund, although they didn’t really need to do it since it was not their fault we couldn’t make it. Overall we had a great stay in Brunnhóll.

The host was very friendly and explined everything when we checked in. Very quiet area. Large clean rooms. The shared bathroom was large and clean. The kitchen area was well stocked.

The location is perfect , good breakfast. Clean tidy rooms with gorgeous view of the nearby glacier. Perfect place to see northern lights. We saw northern lights from the room itself. Bed was comfortable and room was soundproof. In the cost included you can enjoy the hot tubs as well

Great host, stayed up until 1 in the night to receive us. between green mountains, glaciers and sea. Truly a serene place. Best breakfast we had in Iceland

The farm was beautiful as well as the living quarters. We particularly enjoyed the personal bathroom and the horses nearby that we could go out and pet

The guesthouse is very comfortable and modern. The restaurant next to the rooms feel like the old days of Iceland, which is a nice contrast. Don't get me wrong, it's nicely decorated and definitely feels great. The food was really good! The view out of the rooms window is beyond amazing.

I love the easy access into the building and the room. The breakfast in the morning was an added touch! There’s a microwave in the common area to use which is also nice! Pretty basic, but all you need if you’re just stopping for a night or two
