Infinity Lodge has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Wadi Musa. With free WiFi, this 3-star hotel offers room service and free shuttle service. Had the most wonderful stay at Infinity Lodge. Wonderful and attentive hosts, great food, very nice decor, good water pressure for the shower, fast internet in the rooms and the view from my balcony at night was incredible. As a solo female traveller I felt super safe. It's a 15 mins walk downhill to the visitors' entrance in Petra. Compared with the other hotels with standard hotel room decor, this one had a nice boutique feel with its white stone walls and warm coloured rugs. Super comfortable bed and the nice terrace is a great place to work, chill, have shisha and coffee. The cooks can make some great vegetarian dishes.

Petra is good for one time and still it is not up to my expertise... The people in Petra try to grab the money in each and every place... The starting donkey ride is include in our ticket but the team force you to give money on their demand... No police will available to control them... Inside Petra even some places you can't go with out unofficial guide permission, even if you complaint police also no use, just you need to skip the place that's all. But I like in Petra is it more secure, no need to scare... Official guidance is very poor. Even though no security it is safe place to go around in side petra
Petra is in Wadi Musa. Amazing Petra ! Nothing prepares you fir Siq and Treasury . It is svery long walk so start early and be at Treasury byabout 10 to see sun shine on stone . it changes colour . if youhave trouble walking/ bad knees etc it is too far so take a carriage for 20 JD - tip 5 ! take water, hat and sun screen and good shoes. The Cave Bar at the startb is welcome at the end with ice cold beer but only opens at 3pm . there is a hotel attachied now. if you want to stay close to avoid another 300-1000m walk to visitor centre you will pay alot but worth it .Information on where to eat / local tours etc is hard to get in Petra so I ate at my hotel - food in cafes in Visitor Center square is very good . Taxis are avalable outside centre but negotiate first. Private car to Little Petra is 15-20 JD - no more . i also got car to Wadi Rum for 30 JD - some were charging 45 JD so negotiate again!! you will have a wonderful time
Petra should be on everyones bucket list! But you need to be fit and take plenty of water and resist talking to the many hawkers trying to sell you items as you walk around!
Definitely go early it looked like a lot of groups arrived in the afternoon. We heard mixed reviews on the night time experience so didnt bother. Absolutely must buy a Jordan Pass (80JD)before you go even if you only plan to do one day at Petra (70 JD). It covers the 40 JD entry visa and then free for other sites eg Wadi Rum and roman theatre in Amman.
I had an amazing horseback ride in the mountains!! A memory I will keep forever! There is much to do aside from going to Petra, like little Petra, Bayeda, the mountains. Don't out all your eggs in one basket in Wadi Musa!
I’d recommend seeing Petra as it is a UNESCO world heritage site, but be prepared to spend lots of money as the exchange rate for the dollar is $1.41 per dinar. There are so many other charges that made the trip incredibly expensive!
Buy a Jordan pass before arriving in the country (as long as you’re staying more than 3 nights). The base one is only 70JD. If you’re visiting Petra then it already saves you 20JD (40JD for the entry visa and 50 for the Petra ticket) from the beginning and even more if you visit other places like Jerash or Wadi Rum.
Quaint town in the middle of the Jordanian desert. Petra is a several day experience. Wadi Musa is right at the entrance. You will find good food and places to stay and really great local people.
With a car it is perfect to select a hotel a bit further away from Petra national reserve. Al Anbat is relatively cheaper because of the distance. Next time I may go to one of the camps closer to little Petra. The tents or canines look comfortable and give you a better feel of the environment. This time we took a jeep tour and entered Petra at the backside of the monastery. From there it is one hour walking to the monastry. Good for a change and when you're tired walking. We enjoyed zawaya restaurant genuine food for a good price.
Petra is great but not as 7 wonders great. Maybe just the climate is too hot and stuffy I did not enjoy much about the scenery or culture. But I must say Bedouin’s are not reliable honest businessmen, rather they are too doggy to deal with.
Wadi Musa
Petra inbox Hostel truly exceeded my expectations. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The inbox were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, providing a peaceful retreat from the bustling city. The food was simply divine, with a wide range of tasty dishes to choose from. The hostel location was also perfect, with easy access to local attractions and amenities. Overall, I would highly recommend petra inbox to anyone looking for a memorable stay.
I absolutely loved the luxurious accommodations at Petra Premium Hotel. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast spread was impressive, offering a variety of delicious options to start the day off right. Additionally, the hotel's location in the heart of Petra City was unbeatable, providing easy access to the main attractions and ensuring that I could make the most of my time exploring the area.
At Dana Trails Hotel, the sunset views and nights are amazing. The warm hospitality, especially from the friendly Bedouin staff, adds a special touch. Plus, don’t miss the Jordanian food made by the perfect cooker ! Please have dinner at the hotel ! We have eaten at a lot of restaurant during 10days of Jordanian roadtrip and the dinner at the hotel was by far the best !!!! And it is the perfect location to visit the Dana reserve and Petra ! The views are perfect really just go there !!
- Great location, only 5 minutes walk from the entrance to Petra - Hotel has its own parking off the street - Rooms are spacious and very clean - Lunch boxes are available for 8 JOD, which was great value. We couldn't eat the whole lunch box in one day, it was so much. The hotel gave us, per box: 2 sandwiches (can be made vegetarian on request), bottle of water, juice pack, 2 fruits, crisps, muffin/cake, tissues - Friendly staff Would definitely recommend!
Aţ Ţayyibah
The property is off the overcrowded Wadi Musa (Petra), beautifully serene located but with easy access to and direct parking. Its about 9-10 km from the Petra Visitors Center and the road there is well maintained and easy to drive. The Hostel - it really is a Hotel! - is a welcoming and warm Family business and run with absolute kindness and authenticity! The sunsets for the sensational home made traditional dinners are a highly recommended must do!
Wadi Musa
The hostel's location is a major plus, being just a 5-minute drive from the Petra visitor center. This convenience is excellent for those eager to explore the archaeological wonders of Petra without a lengthy commute. Rafiki Hostel also offers good value for money, making it a budget-friendly choice for travelers. The rooftop provides a pleasant surprise, offering a nice view, creating a relaxing spot to unwind after a day of exploration.
What an amazing hotel. We booked last minute because the Grand Mercure was closed and we are so happy that it was. The Petra Canyon Hotel is the place to be if you want to be close to Petra. Abdullah and Ahmad were lovely and gave us all of the information we needed for Petra. The room was lovely and had everything we could have wanted. We ordered room service which was quick and tasty.
Wadi Musa
We very much enjoyed our stay at the Asad Apartment. The gentleman who checked us in was extremely helpful with advice for reaching the Monastery at Petra via the back entrance. The room was clean and comfortable. The common room on the roof that was used for dining was very comfortable and decorated beautifully. The breakfast was delicious. This place was an excellent value.
The location of the hotel is great, especially after returning from a long walk in Petra. It is right at the main entrance to Petra. It has secure parking if you are driving. Hotel has a little bar (not cave bar) and Mr. Amer made us unique and delicious cocktails at there. The stuff was so hospitable and kind. Breakfast and dinner was good. Special thanks to Mr. Amer.
Over Mountains Hotel near Petra is conveniently located close to the town center and easily accessible by car. The hotel provides good value, with clean, comfortable rooms, and we were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary room upgrade. The host was very friendly and helpful, making it a great choice for visiting Petra.
The location was perfect. The rooftop restaurant was perfect and had an incredible view of the city. The food was delicious. The service in the restaurant was wonderful. All attendants were very helpful. If another night had been available, we would have stayed another night. We LOVED our stay at Petra Moon Hotel.
The hotel was very close to the Petra Ancient City, we had a car and drove like 3-5 minutes. Park is easy on the street. Property was extremely clean. Breakfast is very good and you can find multiple options for each item. Hotel owners are super friendly, especially Ali. Thanks for everything.
Location of hotel is very close to entrance of Petra. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience. Owners have several hotel in area and upgraded our stay to Petra Moon Hotel with view of Petra. They made the transition easy and added complimentary dinner and breakfast.
We enjoyed our short stay at Petra Heart Hotel. Room was clean and mattresses comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was tasty with variety of local products. The receptionist gave us really valuable tips where to eat in Wadi Musa and how to get the most out of our trip in Petra.
Wadi Musa

Wadi Musa
Very comfortable 2 bedroom apartment in good location. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Nizar was always available to answer any questions and make arrangements if I needed them. The apartment is very clean. I can highly recommend Petra Rose Apartment 🌹
Super clean and comfy stay at the H Luxury Hotel, from the person who assisted us to the person who dropped out bags were extremely welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend 10/10 and if visiting Petra this hotel is literally 5 mins by walk.
We stayed for two nights at the Hotel. Entrance of Petra is around the corner. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast buffet is is diverse and very fresh. We had dinner one night and I can recommend. Best hotel we stayed in during our week in Jordan!
Staff was extremely friendly, especially Fadi! We received an amazing welcome, and everyone was happy to help. Rooms are also great (recommend triple room). Truly amazing! Thank you, P Quattro Relax Hotel for making our stay in Petra amazing.
Great and helpful staff enthusiatic about the job. Hotel is just a stone throw from the Petra main entrance with lots of restaurants and shops around 👍 I can only recommend to book and stay there while visiting the beautiful Petra 😎🫵
