The interior's clean and beautiful, I was so impressed that despite having an extremely long journey to get to Mima City, I still found myself run around the place to take photos. In addition to that, the staff here were extremely helpful and attentive. They helped me with everything, from arranging and communicating with the taxi driver, providing breakfast even when I check out early, giving advices about places that I want to visit to helping me with the booking of new flight ticket when my flight got cancelled out of nowhere. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Right across from JR Tokushima Train Station, Hotel Sunroute offers modern rooms with free WiFi and a flat-screen TV. The hotel features 3 restaurants, an 11th-floor hot-spring bath and a sauna. It was a really clean and comfortable hotel. The rooms are bigger than I’m used to in Japan and I think they may have upgraded my single bed to a double. The hot spring was also really nice!!

The apartment is an easy walk to grocery, some restaurants, and the train. It is also not far from many interesting things to do in Tokushima City. We enjoyed walking to the central area around the main station and Awaodori Kaikan. The breakfast in the coffee shop downstairs was great every day. We would absolutely stay there again!

Conveniently accessible with shuttle bus from Naruto JR station available. Friendly staffs who can speak English and with English instructions to get around the buildings.
