Hotel Iselmar is located in Lemmer, between the Frisian Lakes and the IJsselmeer. The hotel has a number of facilities, including a swimming pool and bowling lanes. It offers free WiFi access. The breakfast each day surpassed our expectations! The buffet breakfast offered so many food choices it was quite incredible! From smoked fish to eggs, granola, meat, bread, fruit among other foods. The room was very large and comfortable with a well set out bathroom. The hotel is right on the marina so a great place to view the water and all the boating activities daily. The hotel is an easy walk to the dyke and walking to the town of Lemmer itself and to the UNESCO Woudegemaal pumping station nearby. Many cute cages and restaurants in Lemmer nearby along with beautiful canals. A fun stay which surpassed our expectations.

Enkhuizen is a fabulous small town right on the IJsselmeer and this is an excellent hotel right in the city center - close to and well within walking distance to all the beautiful sights. Above that the hotel is exceptionally clean and feels like it was renovated quite thoroughly recently. This leads to very modern rooms and a nice atmosphere - only surpassed by the friendly staff.

The Hotel Spaander is a place to fall in love with. The artpieces skattered on the walls of the old hotel tell the history of this place but also the history of Volendam. The location is a bit far from Amsterdam but buses and metro are so easy to reach and they come very often.The hotel is a beautiful elegant like a story building. Very clean,breakfast prepared by Sara was excellent. Sara is very kind and polite and preparing everything with great care, all tasty and healthy,lot of variation. The room is clean,bed comfortable,you can find all you need, coffee machine,hair dryer,safe box, TV . The bathroom very clean,with toiletries and cabin shower. The weather was a bit cold but the room is well heated. At the reception Cindy and Hamza are very helpful, explaining everything you need to know about transportation and important points to visit.

The staff were absolutely amazing. My mum and aunt went back to Holland to see their mother for the last time, and unfortunately, she passed away whilst they were there. The staff were empathetic to their situation and good not have been more accommodating. Their lovely bus driver drove them to the home where their mum was. I was so pleased my mum and aunt were in such good hands. Everyone went above and beyond.

This place is a Gem. Not really in the city center and behind outdoor activity places so you didn't expect much but the hotel was great. New and relatively modern and right on the beach. The room was fine, the breakfast had a super selection. And I I felt for the first time on our trip that the price was right. - I can also recommend the restaurant right across the way. - The food was really tasty.

Nice renovated house over the canals, super cozy inside and also loved the outside garden and small pier all for us. Services like pool and house extras are excellent, communication was good and the price was reasonable for the quality of staying. Will definitely come back.
