Bridget and her family have been wonderful hosts, also providing delicious breakfast and even dinner on request. Even some toys for our kids :) Very friendly atmosphere where you can meet other travelers and share meals all together. If you like more personal experiences than hotels, don't hesitate. The house is big, the rooms are cozy and the location is conveniently close to Voss and Bergen. Thank you very much, we'll do it again if we come back to Norway!

Lovely location near Voss and a good stop for a road trip around Norway. The hotel had a unique architecture and featured a classy Scandinavian decor. All the rooms had a lake view and was very calm and tranquil. The dinner menu was innovative and showcased the flavors of Norway (loved the fried scallops and pork cheeks with beetroot) and the breakfast was very fresh (we ate so much of the herring in tomato sauce :)

Outstanding hotel .. outstanding staff. A little shout out to Daria who was a delightful waitress … very personable.. and helped me get to the bus stop and train station in Voss. I very much appreciated her assistance and company on the walk to the bus stop and ride to the train station. Thank you Daria and hotel staff.

Beautiful views from this quiet, clean and well equipped little cabin in the ski area above Voss. It is someone’s holiday home, which may not suit if you are looking for more of an impersonal “serviced apartment” type experience but was a good stopover for us for a night on our travels toward Bergen.

I came to Voss to Snow Ski and this location is perfect! It is literally right next to the Gondola. It is also right next to the train tracks! The breakfast was 5 Star! Nice room and comfortable bed. If you are coming to Voss to ski this is definitely the perfect hotel. I will stay here again.

The hotel is located in the center of Voss city (not to far from gondola entrance). Nice view at the lake. Typical old hotel room. Good bathroom. Parking available. Ofcourse if you get luckey to get a spot:) In general it met my expectations. Good enough for weeknd trip.

Nice looking building and vintage interior. Hotel is located right next to the station an Voss gondola to get upto the mountain. Great breakfast with lots of choices. Swimming pool with jacuzzi was also a plus.

Lots of common facilities, kitchen, dining room and terrace to hang out. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Views overlook Voss town. Although the location is not central, the hotel is near several hiking tracks.

Staying in Voss was very nice. Reservation appeared to be with Fleisher Hotel…a very nice traditional facility. .however, our room was actually in some remote & somewhat run down “apartments,”.

The Voss Vandrarheim Hostel is greatly located if you wish to visit the fantastic fjords. Most importantly - is a dog friendly 🐕 there is also a guest kitchen if you wish to prepare a quick meal.

Can't beat the view from the window. The location in the middle of the Voss region fitted our plans like a glove. The cabins look like brand new . Facilities are pretty clean.

It was nice and quiet apartment hotel. Staff was very friendly. It is located between Flam and Voss, so we managed to visit both of them without changing hotel.

Top location and easy to get there by bus (from Voss) . Modern and very clean hotel. Cozy atmosphere. Fantastic breakfast. Delicious pizza.

Great accommodation, helpful staff, good views and location

You looking for a place with tons of atmosphere and charm, look no further - this is it! In a quaint village in Hardanger, lies this hotel with a long history of taking care of travelers and we were in luck to stumble upon the place in May - and we were truly positively surprised and would love to come back!

We really had a great time staying at Voss Moutain Lodge specifically due to the hospitality of the staff and the owner. Gabriela, the manager, was knowledgeable and always enthusiastic to provide necessary information to all the guests. She was all the time running around with lots of smiles. Thomas, the owner, is a super cool guy who looks like he came out of an adventure/wild magazine. He is a genuinely experienced hiker so do ask him if you have any questions at all. You would see him blend in with all his staff working hand in hand around the hotel. We stayed at the lodge for 2 nights and we found both breakfast and dinner way much better than we'd expected. The quality and the attention given to the meal preparation are overwhelmingly satisfied. We highly recommend this place to all nature explorers. One last important note, it is highly recommended that you do backpacking if you're arriving by train. The path from the Ørneberget train stasjon (resembling an abandoned bus stop ^ ^!) down to the lodge is quite steep and could be quite challenging for anyone.
