EcoScapes is situated in 26 km from the centre of Glenorchy and offers transport to the Routeburn Track, which is 17 km from the property. Location was absolutely stunning 😁, beautiful old style buildings and the ecoscape pod's were brilliant, food was fine dinning at its best not to mention a great breakfast as well 😀. Toni the host is lovely and always smiling. It was very hard to leave such a great place 😔

Just a 5-minute drive from the township of Haast, Heartland Hotel Haast is located in the region of South Westland, between the West Coast of New Zealand and the southern lakes districts. I liked that the hotel had a shelter to get to the dining room. Also, the hotel was near the beach and river.

Centrally located in Haast, Heritage Park Lodge offers views of snow-capped mountains, native bush land, and picturesque gardens. The property features free WiFi and free on-site parking. Its beautifully located. Very clean and attention to detail was great. Heater made a bit of noise at night but nothin too distracting as they had good electric blanket which kept us warm. Chris ( I think I got the name correct) at the front office is a fantastic person to talk to. He gave us suggestions about things to do on our way to Hokitika and gave a good insight about general life in South Island. So much to learn from his life experience.

Set amongst peaceful bushland, ASURE Aspiring Court Motel is perfectly positioned to explore the town of Haast. everything - it was a very modern comfortable unit which provided ample room and comfort for all. the beds were very comfy and we had a lovely stay. staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Located along the coast, a 10-minute drive from Haast, Bay Road Motels is surrounded by nature. All apartments are fully equipped and come with kitchen and a lounge with sofa and TV. There was no Wi-Fi, but the facilities were great. The large apartment had a separate bedroom and a well-appointed kitchen. The location is just south of Haast, which is very central for exploring the Haast region and a convenient stopping location between Queenstown and the glacier region. The scenery is spectacular with rugged mountains covered in dense native New Zealand forests and wetlands along the coastal fringe.
