Fitzcarrald Hotel is offering accommodation in Iquitos. This 3-star hotel offers a concierge service and a tour desk. This was the second time I was staying at Fitzcarrald, after we finished our stay at the Amazon lodge. Again the hotel was quiet from the motor noise at night. The hotel manager spoke good English, was highly reliable and responsive and was always ready to help. The transportation from and to the airport the manager arranged was punctual and reasonably priced. Again the hotel is very clean. The breakfast was prepared fresh on the spot and served to our table by the kitchen staff who added greatly to the hotel. I personally would recommend Fitzcarrald hotel to Amazon visitors like us.

The area is beautiful, the staff is experienced, friendly, knowledgeable of the jungle, the animals and insects, accommodating of your interests and needs. The food is prepared beautifully, though the chicken is much better than the beef. The daily trips through the jungle, on the river, bird watching, fishing, visits to local villages, dolphin watching, stargazing were ALL fantastic and made the trip, well worth the inconveniences.

Awesome location, walkable to Plaza de Armas, cute and quaint hotel, clean and comfortable, shower was hot and had good water pressure, room was large with extra closet space and safe, TV and A/C, beautiful rooftop pool/garden, plus they arranged airport transportation. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely stay there again.

Staff is incredible profissional and friendly: Avil and all the other chicos are great! They will help you with restaurant, laundry and practical stuff recommendation. They genuinely are happy to help. The hotel is very clean, safe, breakfast included and centrally located just 3 blocks from main square. Rooms are very spacious, queen bed and most importantly with AC. Pharmacies and the supermarket Portales are just 1 block away. They are very flexible with the bookings and, in my case, due to a flight delayed, they allowed us to change the dates of the booking in a very attentive way.
